Abstrak :
Penelitian ini membahas tentang konsep dharma yang terdapat dalam Serat Kalatidha karya Ranggawarsita yang telah disunting oleh Kamajaya dalam buku “Lima Karya Pujangga Ranggawarsita ”. Serat Kalatidha berisikan tentang kritik Ranggawarsita kepada kinerja pemerintahan serta keadaan masyarakat pada masa itu. Ranggawarsita dalam Serat Kalatidha berpengaruh besar dalam menyampaikan nilai-nilai sosial kepada para pembaca. Nilai-nilai sosial tersebut masa memiliki relevansi terhadap kehidupan masa kini. Permasalahan yang dapat dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana konsep dharma yang terdapat di dalam Serat Kalatidha dan relevansinya terhadap kehidupan masa kini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuktikan bahwa konsep dharma yang terdapat di dalam Serat Kalatidha memiliki relevansi pada masa kini melalui kajian hermeneutika. Kajian hermeneutika menelusuri makna dari permukaan isi teks menuju makna terselubung di dalam teks. Hasil penelitian ini mengklasifikasikan konsep dharma dalam Serat Kalatidha ke dalam dua golongan, yaitu konsep dharma bagi pemimpin negara dan konsep dharma bagi warga negara. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah konsep dharma dalam Serat Kalatidha dapat dijadikan sebagai pedoman karena relevansinya dalam menjalani kehidupan masa kini untuk mencapai kehidupan bernegara yang harmonis. ......This study discusses the concept of dharma contained in the Serat Kalatidha by Ranggawarsita which has been edited by Kamajaya in the book “Lima Karya Pujangga Ranggawarsita”.Serat Kalatidha contains Ranggawarsita’s criticism of the government’s performance and the state of society at that time. Ranggawarsita in Serat Kalatidha has a big influence in conveying social values to the readers. These social values have relevance to today’s life. The problem that can be formulated in this study is how the concept of dharma contained in the Serat Kalatidha and its relevance to today’s life. The purpose of this study is to prove that the concept of dharma contained in the Serat Kalatidha has relevance today through the hermeneutics studies. The study of hermeneutics through the meaning of the surface of the text to the hidden meaning in the text. The results of this study classify the concept of dharma in Serat Kalatidha into two groups, namely the concept of dharma for state leaders and the concept of dharma for citizens. The conclusion of this study is that the concept of dharma in the Serat Kalatidha can be used as a guide because of its relevance in living today’s life to achieve a harmonious state life.

Abstrak :
Paul Ricoeurʹs contribution to the theory of interpretation, or hermeneutics, is considerable: he ranks among the masters of this discipline alongside Schleiermacher, Dilthey, Heidegger and Gadamer. In addition to major works like The Conflict of Interpretations, he wrote many articles and shorter texts which deserve to be discovered and rediscovered. These allow us to gain a deeper understanding of the development of his work over time and to appreciate the full range of his contribution. Some of the texts examine the nature of metaphor while others guide the reader through the many challenges of the hermeneutic problem - from the symbol to the text, then to the text as action, taking full account of the ethical implications. Here one encounters Ricoeurʹs reflections on the future of hermeneutics and his abiding concern to explore the relations between hermeneutics and analytical philosophy. -- Back cover.
