Abstrak :
The routine daily activities that tend to be sedentary and repetitive may cause severe health problems. This issue has encouraged researchers to design a system to detect and record people activities in real time and thus encourage them to do more physical exercise. By utilizing sensors embedded in a smartphone, many research studies have been conducted to try to recognize user activity. The most common sensors used for this purpose are accelerometers and gyroscopes; however, we found out that a gravity sensor has significant potential to be utilized as well. In this paper, we propose a novel method to recognize activities using the combination of an accelerometer and gravity sensor. We design a simple hierarchical system with the purpose of developing a more energy efficient application to be implemented in smartphones. We achieved an average of 95% for the activity recognition accuracy, and we also succeed at proving that our work is more energy efficient compared to other works.

ABSTRAK
Good Manufacturing Practices atau GMP merupakan pedoman yang penting dan harus diterapkan dalam penelitian ndash; penelitian, terutama dalam bidang medis dan kimia. Namun, meskipun pengetahuan mengenai GMP telah diketahui secara luas, dalam penelitian yang dilakukan tidak menerapkan pedoman tersebut, sehingga hasil penelitian yang dilakukan saat diujikan lebih lanjut akan memberikan hasil yang berbeda nyata dan tidak memiliki efek farmakologis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengikuti pengaturan GMP dalam masalah penanganan bahan baku dan bahan mentah, peralatan, pengarsipan dan dokumentasi, serta dalam perihal kebersihan pribadi dan ruang kerja. Penelitian yang banyak dilakukan dalam bidang medis ataupun kimia ialah pengembangan obat anti kanker. Herbal menjadi salah satu sebagai pengobatan alternative yang digunakan untuk menangkal efek negative tersebut. Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan, dipilih bahan utama herbal yakni mangostin. Prinsip pelepasan terkendali sebagai sarana penghantaran obat digunakan untuk perancangan obat yang efektif pada organ target kolon. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pembuatan mikropartikel kitosan tersalut alginat sebagai bahan pembawa obat berdasarkan pedoman GMP. Pembuatan mikropartikel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode taut silang antara kitosan ndash; TPP ndash; mangostin dan gelasi ionotropik Alginat - CaCl2 sebagai penyalut kitosan, dengan perbandingan kitosan:alginat yang digunakan ialah 1:0,25 w/w dengan variasi ekstrak 0,1, 0,2, dan 0,4 gram. Mikropartikel yang telah disiapkan dengan menerapkan pedoman GMP tersebut memberikan hasil ekstraksi dan loading mikropartikel yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan non-GMP dan mampu menahan pelepasan senyawa bioaktif hingga target pelepasan, yaitu kolon.
ABSTRACT
Good Manufacturing Practices or GMP is an important guide and should be applied in researches, especially in the medical and chemical field. However, despite the knowledge of GMP has been widely acknowledged, the researches done didn rsquo t implement GMP, so that the further research will give significantly different results when evaluated and did not have a pharmacological effect. Research is conducted by following GMP arrangements in handling ingredients and raw materials, equipment, filing and documentation, as well as in personal hygiene and workspace hygiene. Research is mostly done in the field of medical or chemical is the development of anti cancer drugs. Herbs become one as alternative medicine used to counteract such negative effects. In research conducted, the main ingredient called mangostin. The principle of controlled release as a means of delivery of drugs is used to design effective drugs on the target organ of the colon. In this experiment, crystallized chitosan microparticles of alginate was made as drug carrier based on GMP guideline. Microparticle preparation was performed using crosslinking method between chitosan TPP mangostin and ionotropic gelation Alginate CaCl2 as coating of chitosan, with chitosan alginate used was 1 0.25 w w with variation extract 0.1, 0.2, and 0.4 grams. The microparticles prepared by applying the GMP guidelines provide higher extraction and loading microparticles than non GMP and are able to withstand the release of bioactive compounds to release targets, the colon.
