Abstrak :
Untuk mencapai sasaran yang optimal dalam pemanfaatan energi panas matahari, perlu dilakukan pengujian dan analisis lebih lanjut terhadap performa yang dihasilkan oleh kombinasi kolektor pelat datar dan juga konsentrator parabolik. Pada tugas akhir ini, akan dibahas proses pengujian terhadap rangkaian tersebut dilihat bagaimana karakteristik dari heat removal factor dan overall heat loss coefficient yang dihasilkan alat tersebut. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan fluida air yang dialirkan melewati rangkaian 8 kolektor pelat datar dan dilanjutkan dengan pemanasan di konsentrator parabolik. Parameter yang diukur adalah temperatur air serta temperatur ambien, intensitas radiasi matahari, dan laju aliran massa. Dari perhitungan didapat nilai karakteristik overall heat loss coefficient untuk 2 rangkaian seri meningkat tiap kolektornya mulai dari 9.27 W/mK hingga 9.51 2 W/mK begitu pula dengan rangkaian paralel mulai dari 9.38 W/mK hingga 9.6 2 W/mK. Sedangkan untuk nilai heat removal factor rangkaian seri menurun dari 0.825 ke 0.821 sedangkan pada rangkaian parallel bervariasi mulai dari 0.682 hingga 0.779 tergantung dari laju aliran masa yang mengalir di tiap kolektor. Untuk konsentrator parabolik memiliki heat loss coefficient 23.55 W/mK dan heat removal factor sebesar 0.81. ......To achieve optimal utilization of solar thermal energy, need to do further testing and analysis of the performance generated by a combination of flat plate collector and parabolic concentrator. In this thesis, will be discussed about the testing process of that device to see how the characteristics of the heat removal factor and overall heat loss coefficient resulted by that device. Tests carried out using water that flowed through the fluid circuit of 8 flat plate collectors and followed by re¬heating on parabolic concentrator. Parameters measured in this test are fluid temperature and ambient temperature, solar radiation intensity, and mass flow rate. From the calculation, obtained overall heat loss coefficient for the series circuit 2 increases each collector from 9.27 until 9.51 W/mK as well as the parallel circuit 2 starting from 9.38 up to 9.6 W/mK. Meanwhile, the value of a series circuit heat removal factor decreased from 0.825 to 0.821 while in the parallel series ranging from 0.682 to 0.779 depends on mass flow rate which flows through each collectors. For parabolic concentrators, they have a heat loss coefficient of 23.55 W/mK and heat removal factor of 0.81.

Hydrofoil adalah teknologi untuk menambah efisiensi energi dengan menghasilkan gaya angkat untuk mengurangi hambatan lambung kapal. Namun pada kecepatan rendah hambatan hydrofoil yang dihasilkan lebih besar dibanding tanpa hydrofoil. Pada penelitian kali ini kapal yang digunakan merupakan kapal patroli pelat datar. Hambatan kapal pelat datar lebih besar dibanding kapal streamline pada umumnya, hydrofoil menyebabkan hambatan oleh lambung kapal tidak dominan karena fluida yang melewati lambung merupakan fluida udara. Penelitian ini membahas proses perancangan hydrofoil untuk kapal pelat datar dan pengujian menggunakan metode eksperimen. Eksperimen dilakakukan di air tenang dengan penggerak dari RC boat engine, parameter pengukurannya adalah waktu dan jarak untuk mendapatkan kecepatan pada setiap kondisi. Pada penelitian ini didapatkan perbandingan kecepatan kapal dengan dan tanpa hydrofoil menggunakan power yang sama. Pada kecepatan rendah hydrofioil justru memberikan kerugian dan pada kecepatan tinggi dapat menambah kecepatan. ......Hydrofoil is a technology to increase energy efficiency with producing lift force to decrease hull ressistance. But in low speed, ressistance with hydrofoil is higher than without hydrofoil. In this research, flat plate hull patrol boat will be used. The ressistance of flat plate hull in general is higher than streamline hull. Hydrofoil can cause hull ressistance not dominant anymore because the hull ressistance will only caused by air fluid. This research discuss about process of hydrofoil design for flat plate hull and will be tested with experiment methode. The experiment is hold in steady water with RC boat engine to run the boat, measurement paramater of this research is time and distance to calculate speed in each condition. Output of this research is speed efficiency between model boat with and without hydrofoil. At low speed, hydrofoil gives disadvantage for speed efficiency, and at high speed, it gives advantage for speed efficiency.

The flat plate ship is a ship that is being developed and has entered the mass production stage of the Ministry of Research and Technology Republic of Indonesia. This is related to the function of flat plate vessels that are suitable with the conditions and needs of the Indonesian state, namely the massive production of marine fleets. Flat plate ships provide advantages including production cost efficiency which is far more economical than ships in general because it does not go through the bending process, so does the production time which can be shortened. But the flat plate ship still needs improvement, one of them is the ship propulsion. This study will combine a flat plate ship tunnel with a ducted propeller as an effort to increase thrust and hydrodynamic efficiency, with the ultimate goal of reducing fuel demand from flat plate vessels. The title of the research that was raised was the Analysis of the Combination of the Use of Tunnel and Ducted Propeller Against Increased Thrust on Flat Plate Ships: Trawler Fishing. The research method used is bollard pull / trawl pull using reference bollard pull guidelines - ITTC. Using a 70cm model ship with three configurations to be a comparison of the resulting value. The configuration used is conventional fishing trawler type flat plate without tunnel, and flat plate ship with Tunnel with all configurations using open and ducted propeller. This study succeeded in producing the desired destination with a combination of Tunnel and Ducted able to increase hydrodynamic efficiency and thrust values compared to other configurations. So that this research is expected to be one of the references to propulsion solutions and designs on flat plate vessels.

Industri galangan kapal menghasilkan produk seperti bangunan apung, struktur bangunan lepas pantai, dan kapal, termasuk kapal ikan. Namun pembuatan sebuah kapal memerlukan waktu lama dan cukup mahal dikarenakan bentuk lambung kapal yang streamline sehingga memerlukan proses bending. Maka dibuat sebuah alternatif yaitu berupa kapal pelat datar dengan tujuan untuk memudahkan proses manufaktur sehingga proses produksi kapal dapat dilakukan di galangan kecil dan dapat menekan biaya. Pada penerapannya kapal pelat datar jenis monohull yang berbentuk V memiliki stabilitas yang kurang baik saat berlayar. Maka dibuat sebuah desain kapal pelat datar dengan jenis semi trimaran sebagai solusi dari masalah tersebut. Namun perubahan jenis lambung ini tentunya akan berpengaruh kepada nilai hambatan total kapal. Pada penelitian ini dirancang suatu kapal ikan pelat datar semi trimaran 5 GT dengan variasi sudut semi trimaran 0°, 10°, dan 15° yang akan diuji nilai hambatan totalnya pada kondisi pembebanan saat kapal berangkat (kondisi 1), telah menangkap ikan (kondisi 2), dan saat pulang (kondisi 3). Pengujian ini dilakukan pada kecepatan 6 – 10 knot dengan menggunakan software Maxsurf Resistance dan ANSYS Fluent. Hasil dari simulasi didapatkan bahwa kapal dengan variasi sudut trimaran 0° memiliki nilai hambatan total paling kecil pada kecepatan 10 knot kondisi 2 yaitu 4992.9 N......The shipbuilding industry produces products such as floating structures, offshore, and ships, including fishing vessels. However, making a ship takes a long time and is quite expensive due to the streamlined hull shape that requires a bending process. Then an alternative was made in the form of a flat plate vessel with the aim of facilitating the manufacturing process so that the ship production process can be carried out in small shipyards and can reduce costs. In its application, the V-shaped monohull type flat plate vessel has poor stability while sailing. Then made a flat plate vessel design with semi trimaran type as a solution to this problem. However, this change in the type of hull will certainly affect the total resistance value of the ship. In this study, a 5 GT semitrimaran flat plate fishing vessel was designed with a semi trimaran angle variation of 0°, 10°, and 15° which will be tested for the total resistance value under loading conditions when the ship departs (condition 1), has caught fish (condition 2 ), and on return (condition 3). This test was carried out at a speed of 6 – 10 knots using Maxsurf Resistance and ANSYS Fluent software. The results of the simulation show that the ship with a semi trimaran angle variation of 0° has the smallest total resistance value at a speed of 10 knots in condition 2, which is 4992.9 N.
