[ABSTRAK
Penelitian dengan judul Fire Load kamar asrama Y di Jakarta merupakan penelitian deskriptif komparatif. Penelitian ini menggambarkan nilai fire load yang berasal dari bahan perlengkapan di dalam ruangan (kamar) baik yang bersifat fixed seperti kusen dan pintu maupun yang bersifat movable seperti kursi, tempat tidur dan lainnya. Perlengkapan kamar kemudian dikategorikan menurut tipe pertumbuhan api, yaitu ultrafast, fast, medium dan slow. Waktu perkiraan evakuasi dihitung dengan menggunakan model matematis sederhana berdasarkan gambaran komponen sarana evakuasi gedung.

Dari hasil penelitian terhadap 13 kamar asrama di asrama Y diketahui rata-rata nilai Fire Load adalah 356.0 MJ/m2. Hasil tersebut melebihi survey yang dilakukan oleh puslitkim PU pada tahun 1997. Menurut tipe pertumbuhan apinya 66.6 % perlengkapan asrama memiliki sifat pertumbuhan api medium, 26.9 % perlengkapan memiliki pertumbuhan api sifat fast namun 6.5% perlengkapan asrama memiliki sifat pertumbuhan api ultra fast (waktu tumbuh 75 detik). Hasil perhitungan waktu evakuasi tanpa hambatan adalah 15 menit 48 detik pada siang hari dan 13 menit 31 detik pada malam hari

The fire load room estimations value of Y dormitory in Jakarta and fire evacuation is a descriptive and comparative research. This research calculated fire load derived from room facilities material either fixed fire load (siils, door etc) and movable Fire Load( chair, bed, etc). The material then categorized based on fire growth type,e g ultrafast, fast, medium and slow. The evacuation time has calculated using simple mathematics method based on evacuation means.

Pemanfaatan baja ringan semakin meningkat sebagai bahan alternatif pengganti kayu untuk struktur atap. Bahan ini memiliki beberapa keunggulan antara lain ringan, anti rayap, dan relatif banyak tersedia dengan harga yang wajar. Namun demikian, bahan konstruksi ini memiliki beberapa keterbatasan dalam hal sifat struktural, seperti tegangan sisa, dan rentan terhadap ketidakstabilan dan kebakaran. Studi eksperimental ini mengeksplorasi perilaku balok baja cold-formed berpenampang sederhana dengan penopang sederhana di mana dua penampang C75 disusun dari depan ke depan dan disatukan dengan pembatas pengikat pada sekrup. Dengan bentang 1,3 m, balok akan dikenai uji lentur tiga titik dan uji lentur empat titik pada kondisi suhu ambien dan elevasi. Spesimen akan dimuat di bawah laju pemuatan 0,5 mm/menit dengan pengaturan jarak sekrup yang berbeda. Mekanisme yang dikendalikan oleh elemen pemanas akan dilampirkan untuk mewakili kondisi pada suhu tinggi. Korelasi yang terkait dengan gaya yang diterapkan terhadap defleksi akan ditetapkan. ......The utilization of cold-formed steel is increasing as an alternative material to wood for roof structures. This material has some benefits that include being lightweight, termite-proof, and relatively widely available at a reasonable price. Nevertheless, this construction material has some limitations in terms of structural properties, such as residual stress, and is prone to instability and fire. This experimental study explores the behaviour of simply supported box sections cold-formed steel beams where two C75 sections are arranged front-to-front and put together with tie constraint at the screw. With a span of 1.3 m, the beams will be subjected to a three-point flexural test and four-point flexural test at ambient and elevated temperature conditions. The spesimens will be loaded under a 0.5 mm/min loading rate with different screw spacing arrangements. A heating element-controlled mechanism will be attached to represent conditions at elevated temperatures. The correlation related to applied forces against deflection will be established.
