Abstrak :
Isu antara remaja dan seksualitas ditampilkan pada film asal Prancis dengan judul Jeune et Jolie. Film ini mengangkat kisah seorang gadis remaja dalam menemukan dirinya melalui pengalaman seksualitas dengan menjadi pelacur. Salah satu hal yang menonjol pada film ini yaitu pembagian film dengan musim yang diiringi dengan lagu-lagu Françoise Hardy sebagai soundtrack film. Untuk memahami perjalanan seksualitas tokoh akan dilakukan pengkajian film dengan menggunakan teori kajian film oleh Boggs dan Petrie (2018) terkait strategi naratif dan sinematografis. Kajian mengenai segi naratif akan disempurnakan dengan teori strukturalisme milik A.J. Greimas dalam menganalisis penokohan serta alur cerita. Kemudian, untuk memahami soundtrack akan digunakan konsep musik dalam film oleh Kathryn Kalinak (2010). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi signifikansi soundtrack film dalam merepresentasikan perjalanan seksualitas tokoh utama. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi antara soundtrack, musim, dan aspek naratif dalam mengkonstruksi keseluruhan film. Pilihan lagu Hardy sebagai soundtrack merupakan representasi dari tokoh-tokoh yang terlibat dalam perjalanan seksualitas tokoh utama. L’amour d’un garçon merupakan representasi dari tokoh Felix, À quoi ça sert ? merupakan representasi dari tokoh Georges, Première rencontre representasi dari tokoh Alex, dan Je suis moi merupakan representasi tokoh Isabelle. ......The French film Jeune et Jolie addresses the complexity of adolescent transition period through the depiction of a young girl’s exploration of her own sexuality by engaging in prostitution. This film stands out due to its organization into segments representing different seasons, accompanied by songs by Françoise Hardy as the film’s soundtrack. To analyze the character’s sexual journey, the study of this film will employ the theories of Boggs and Petrie (2018) on narrative and cinematographic strategies. The analysis of the narrative aspect will be enhanced using A.J. Greimas’s structuralism theory, which examines characterization and storyline. Furthermore, Kathryn Kalinak's concept of music in films (2010) will be utilized to have deeper comprehension about the role of the soundtrack. The objective of this research is to explore the significance of film soundtracks in representing the main character’s sexual exploration. The findings of this study highlight the interplay between the soundtrack, seasonal segments, and narrative elements in constructing the overall film. The selection of Hardy’s songs as the soundtrack serves as a representation of the characters involved in the main character’s sexual journey. For example, L’amour d’un garçon represents the character Felix, À quoi ça sert ? represents Georges, Première rencontre represents Alex, and Je suis moi represents Isabelle.
