Abstrak :
Tesis ini membahas family policies yang ditetapkan oleh Uni Eropa dan penerapannya di negara-negara anggota khususnya di wilayah Visegrad. Family policies yang dibahas dalam tesis ini terdiri dari empat kebijakan yaitu, cuti orang tua, tunjangan orang tua, tunjangan anak-anak dan ketersediaan layanan childcare. Kebijakan-kebijakan ini menjadi ranah kebijakan sosial yang menjamin kesejahteraan masyarakat khususnya dalam tingkat keluarga. Negara-negara Visegrad menjadi anggota Uni Eropa pada tahun 2004 dan harus menerapkan standar yang diberikan terkait kebijakan-kebijakan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan menganalisis penerapan kebijakan dengan melihat perspektif masyarakat Visegrad, khususnya perempuan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan alasan mengapa family policies di negara-negara Visegrad belum dapat mengatasi permasalahan kependudukan di sana. ...... This thesis discusses about family policies and their implementation in the European Union and its member states, particularly in Visegrad countries. The family policies discussed consist of 4 policies; parental leave policy, parental benefits policy, children benefit and policy on childcare service. These policies belong to social policy which guarantees the social security of a family. The four Visegrad countries became the European Union member states in 2004, so that they have to implement the measures given on the policies related. This is a qualitative research which analyse the implementation of family policies from the perspective of Visegrad people, particularly women. This research explains about reasons why the family policies have not overcame the problems of population growth in Visegrad countries.

Abstrak :
This book examines the resulting changes in the relationship between families and the state, and the shifting borders of public and private responsibility in education, child care, and childrearing. It considers international and national debates that underline the fact that issues in private life are increasingly entering the public discourse and becoming subject to attempts at socio-political control. Finally, it discusses the growing politicization of parenthood in the (post) welfare state and the increasing attention being paid to the structural conditions of gainful employment and child care as well as to the current relations between the genders.

Abstrak :
Masalah gizi menjadi penyebab utama kematian balita di dunia. Salah satu masalah gizi adalah ketidakseimbangan status gizi. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizi anak salah satunya melalui optimalisasi fungsi keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan fungsi keluarga yang termasuk fungsi afektif keluarga, fungsi ekonomi keluarga, dan fungsi perawatan kesehatan keluarga terhadap status gizi anak usia prasekolah pada TK/RA di Kelurahan Cilebut Barat Bogor. Desain penelitian cross sectional ini melibatkan 109 anak usia prasekolah beserta keluarganya pada TK/RA di Kelurahan Cilebut Barat Bogor. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur status gizi adalah bagan antropometrik WHO yang dikeluarkan oleh Kemenkes RI dan kuesioner fungsi keluarga yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Uji statistik yang digunakan untuk analisis bivariat adalah uji chi square. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara fungsi keluarga dan status gizi anak prasekolah (p=0,000), terdapat hubungan antara fungsi afektif keluarga dan status gizi anak prasekolah (p=0,000), terdapat hubungan antara fungsi ekonomi keluarga dan status gizi anak prasekolah (p=0,001), dan terdapat hubungan antara fungsi perawatan kesehatan keluarga dan status gizi anak prasekolah (p=0,001). Oleh karena itu, keluarga diharapkan dapat memanfaatkan program keluarga sehat agar fungsi keluarga dapat dijalankan dengan baik sehingga status gizi anak normal ......Nutritioinal problems are the main cause of infant mortality in the world. Imbalance in nutritional status is one of the nutritional problems. By optimizing family function, this can be an efforts to meet children’s nutritional needs. The study aimed to perceive the relationship among family function, include affective function of the family, economic function of the family, and health care function of the family towards nutritional status of preschool children on TK/RA at Cilebut Barat Village Bogor. This cross sectional study involving 109 preschool children and their family on TK/RA at Cilebut Barat Village Bogor. The instrument used to measures nutritional status is WHO anthropometric chart issued by Kemenkes RI and family function questionnaire which has been tested its validity and reliability. The statistical test used for bivariate analysis is chi square test. This study find there is an association among family function and nutritional status of preschoolers (p=0,000), there is an association among affective function of the family and nutritional status of preschoolers (p=0,000), there is an association among economic function of the family and nutritional status of preschoolers (p=0,001), and there is an association among healthcare function of the family and nutritional status of preschoolers (p=0,001). Therefore family is suggested to utilize Indonesia Sehat program so that family function can be done properly and child’s nutritional status is normal.
