"ABSTRAKDi jaman dimana teknologi merajalela ini, media-media sosial memiliki kekuatan untuk mempengaruhi masyarakat Acquisti Gross, 2006 . Dikarenakan oleh hal ini, media-media sosial tersebut bukan hanya menjadi basis untuk mengisi waktu luang, namun juga sebagai bagian dari rutinitas para pengguna Debatin et all., 2009 . Karya ilmiah ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk menginvestigasi Facebook, salah tau jenjang media sosial terlawas di dunia. Lebih tepatnya lagi, karya ilmiah ini membahas topik hak privasi dan isu keamanan akun pribadi dengan menggunakan Ritualized Media Theory yang dikelolah oleh William Carey.
