"ABSTRAKGangguan tidur di ICU disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, diantaranya lingkungan, kebisingan, pencahayaan, kegiatan perawat, penyakit yang diderita, tindakan keperawatan, terapi obat, dan ventilasi mekanik. Efek yang ditimbulkan akan memengaruhi fungsi kekebalan tubuh, sistem metabolisme, regulasi sistem saraf pusat, dan kondisi psikologis. Tujuan penelitian ini menerapkan dan membuktikan efektifitas penggunaan Earplug dan Eye Mask dalam meningkatkan kualitas tidur pada pasien di ICU. Desain yang digunakan randomized controlled trial (RCT) crossover design. Peneliti membagi Group A dan Group B dengan simple random sampling. Jumlah sampel 24 responden. Instrumen kualitas tidur menggunakan Richard Campbell Sleep Questionnaire (RCSQ). Data dianalisis dengan uji Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan p-value < 0,05, berarti pada alpha 5% terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kualitas tidur antara malam pertama dan kedua pada masing-masing group sehingga disarankan dijadikan evidence based di rumah sakit sebagai salah satu terapi komplementer yang dapat dijadikan intervensi mandiri keperawatan untuk membantu mengatasi gangguan tidur.ABSTRACTEvidence-Based Nursing Application Effect of Earplugs and Eye Mask on Quality Sleep in Patients in ICU. Sleep disorders in ICU are caused by many factors, including environment, noise, lighting, nursing activities, illness, nursing, medication therapy, and mechanical ventilation. The effects will affect the immune function, metabolic system, central nervous system regulation, and psychological conditions. The purpose of this study to apply and prove the effectiveness of the use of Earplug and Eye Mask in improving sleep quality in patients in ICU. The design used randomized controlled trial (RCT) crossover design. The researchers divide Group A and Group B by simple random sampling. The Total sample of 24 respondents. Sleep quality instrument using Richard Campbell Sleep Questionnaire (RCSQ). Data were analyzed by the Independent Sample T-Test. The result of this research is p-value <0,05, mean at alpha 5% there is a significant difference of sleep quality between first and second night in each group so it is suggested to be an evidence-based in a hospital as one of complementary therapy which can be made independent intervention nursing to help overcome sleep disorders."

Clinical practice of Medical-Surgery Nursing residency in orthopaedic nursing aims to apply the role of nurses as patient care providers, educators, manager, researchers and reform agents. Nurse specialists as providers of care by conducting patient management which is the main case and resume. The main case was given to patients with multiple fractures with Virginia Hendersons model theory approach. Nursing specialists as researchers by applying Evidence Based Nursing Practice in caryying out nursing actions. The application of the music therapy is one of the choices of evidence based nursing actions to reduce anxiety in erthopaedic inpatients. Nurse specialists as reform agents are carried out by implementing enhanced recovery after surgery programs in patients with Total Hip Replacement. The series of activities carried our in the residency practice aims to improve the quality of holistic nursing care services."

"Ruang lingkup pelaksanaan program residensi adalah pencapaian kompetensi klinis dan penerapan peran ners spesialis dalam praktik keperawatan lanjut. Proses ini dilaksanakan dengan penerapan pendekatan teori Keperawatan Virginia Henderson pada sistem onkologi, penerapan Evidence Based Nursing terapi musik mengurangi nyeri kanker, dan penerapan inovasi protokol ERAS pada pasien mastektomi dan tiroidektomi di RSUP Cipto Mangunkusumo Jakarta. Pendekatan teori virginia Henderson sangat cocok diterapkan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pasien dengan keganasan yang kompleks karena bersifat komprehensif dan holistik mencakup kebutuhan fisik, psikologis, sosial, dan spiritual. Penerapan evidence based nursing terapi musik menunjukan bahwa terjadi penurunan nyeri setelah diberikan terapi musik. Inovasi ERAS protokol menunjukan terjadi penurunan jumlah hari rawat dan berkurangnya komplikasi pasca bedah. Disarankan kepada perawat agar lebih mengembangkan penggunaan pendekatan teori Virginia Henderson dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pasien yang holistik dan menjadikan terapi musik sebagai alternatif pilihan dalam mengurangi nyeri kanker serta mengembangkan ERAS protokol pada pembedahan mastektomi dan tiroidektomi.

The scope of the implementation of the residency program is the achievement of clinical competencies and the application of the role of specialist nurses in advanced nursing practice. This process was carried out with the application of Virginia Henderson's Nursing theory approach to the oncology system, the application of Evidence Based Nursing music therapy to reduce cancer pain, and the application of innovation to the ERAS protocol in mastectomy and thyroidectomy patients at Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital, Jakarta.

The Henderson virginian theory approach is very suitable to be applied in meeting the needs of patients with complex malignancies because it is comprehensive and holistic including physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. The application of evidence based nursing music therapy shows that there is a decrease in pain after being given music therapy. The ERAS innovation protocol shows a decrease in the number of care days and a reduction in postoperative complications.

It is suggested to nurses to further develop the use of Virginia Henderson's theoretical approach in meeting patients' holistic needs and making music therapy an alternative choice in reducing cancer pain and developing ERAS protocols for mastectomy and thyroidectomy surgery."
