ABSTRACT
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai ungkapan-ungkapan yang berkaitan dengan moral melalui analisis struktural dengan melihat unsur-unsur intrinsik yang ada di dalam novel tersebut. Unsur-unsur intrinsik tersebut terdiri dari tokoh dan penokohan, alur, latar, tema, dan amanat. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah novel yang berjudul Klelep ing Samudra Rasa. Novel tersebut adalah novel berbahasa Jawa yang diterbitkan oleh Lentera Ilmu pada tahun 2017. Pada novel Klelep ing Samudra Rasa terdapat amanat yang ingin disampaikan mengenai ungkapan-ungkapan dalam bahasa Jawa yang di dalamnya terkandung nilai positif dan negatif yang ada melalui cerita tersebut. Ungkapan-ungkapan yang terdapat pada novel Klelep ing Samudra Rasa seperti Esuk Dhele Sore Tempe, Ngrusak Pager Ayu, Adigang Adigung, dan Narima ing Pandum. Ungkapan-ungkapan tersebut mengandung makna yang bermanfaat sehingga dapat dijadikan pelajaran untuk menjalani kehidupan.

ABSTRACT
This research discusses the idioms related to morals through structural analysis by looking at the intrinsic elements present in the novel. The intrinsic elements consist of characters and characterizations, plots, backgrounds, themes and messages. The data used in this research is a novel entitled Klelep ing Samudra Rasa. The novel is a Javanese novel published by Lentera Ilmu in 2017. In the novel Klelep ing Samudra Rasa there is a meaning about the idioms in the Javanese language which is contained positive and negative values that exist through the story. The idioms contained in the novel Klelep ing Samudra Rasa such as Esuk Dhele Sore Tempe, Ngrusak Pager Ayu, Adigang Adigung, and Narima ing Pandum. These idioms contain meanings that can be used as lessons to get along in this lifes.

The Jamesian mode of writing, it has been claimed, actively works against an understanding of the way truth, history and power circulate in his texts.
