"Sebagai perusahaan listrik milik negara, PT PLN persero berusaha untuk menyuplai energi listrik secara optimal. Untuk menjaga kualitas energi listrik yang disalurkan, sistem pengaman dan pemeliharaan perlatan listrik suatu gardu induk sangat diperlukan. Pengujian pada transformator dilakukan untuk menjaga durability dan reliability dari sebuah sistem tenaga listrik terutama transformator daya yang berperan penting dalam penyaluran tenaga listrik. Untuk itu diperlukan pengujian transformator daya secara berkala. Sehingga jika ditemukan ketidaknormalan pada suatu transformator, dapat segera dilakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut. Dengan demikian tidak akan terjadi kegagalan saat transformator beroperasi.
As state-owned enterprises, PT PLN persero manage to supply the electric energy optimally. In order to utilize and maintain the quality of the electrical energy, a system of maintenance and protection of substation electrical equipment are required. Transformer testing performed to maintain the durability and reliability of power system, especially power transformers that have an important role in the distribution of electricity. Therefor, periodic testing of power transformer is needed, so that in case there is an abnormality on the transformer, a further investigation can be done immediately. thus the failure of the transformer during operation can be avoided."
