Abstrak :
A computer application named Farmakomatic 1.0 had been developed to calculate pharmacokinetic parameters from plasma drug concentration data following intravenous and oral administration with one and two compartment model using a program application Microsoft® Visual Basic 6.0®. The application was evaluated using two plasma drug concentration data. Calculation results of the Farmakomatic 1.0 and manual calculation using Microsoft® Excel 2003® were not different.

Dalam peningkatan mutu berkesinambungan, diperlukan suatu instrumen yang dapat merangkum seluruh kegiatan dan upaya tersebut dalam penyelenggaraan pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit melalui clinical pathway, dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan bagi pengguna rumah sakit, dengan mutu yang baik serta biaya BLU RS. Prof.DR.R.D. Kandou Manado, saat ini belum memiliki dapat diperkirakan clinical pathway khusus pasien meningitis, yangmerupakan salah satu penyakit neuroinfeksi terbanyak. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan kualitatif, bertujuan membuat clinical pathway dengan mortalitas cukup tinggi, memiliki lama hari rawat panjang, biaya perawatan cukup tinggi, perjalanan penyakit dan hasilnya dapat diperkirakan. meningitis, berdasarkan data karakteristik pasien, kapasitas rumah sakit dan utilisasi pelayanan. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan tiga bentuk lembaran clinical pathway, untuk diagnosis meningitis di Departemen Neurologi BLU RSUP Prof.DR.R.D. Kandou yang hasilnya disesuaikan dengan keadaan rumah sakit, dan telah disetujui oleh pimpinan rumah sakit dan Departemen Neurologi divisi neuroinfeksi, untuk dapat digunakan. ...... In order to improve the quality continuosly, an instrument embracing the whole activities in performance of heath service in hospital is needed, through clinical pathway. BLU RSUP Prof.Dr.R.D. Kandou Manado has no clinical pathway yet at the moment, for meningitis patient in particular, which is one of the most common neuro infection disease with high mortality, long lenght of stay, high cost of care, with predictable course of disease and outcome. Method : This is a qualitative and quantitavie study, which aims to make a clinical pathway for meningitis, according to patien characteristic data, hospital capacity and service utility. Result of this study is obatained three form of clinical pathway sheets for meningitis patients at neurology department BLU RSUP PROF.DR.R.D. Kandou Manado, which compatible with the hospital condition, approved by hospital administrators and division neuroinfection of Neurology department.

Liposom adalah teknologi pengiriman obat untuk meningkatkan kemanjuran dan keamanan obat. Liposom adalah vesikel amphiphilic yang memiliki bagian kutub dan non-kutub. Ini memungkinkan liposom untuk membawa obat-obatan hidrofilik dan hidrofobik. Kafein adalah zat psikoaktif yang disebut xanthine alkaloid yang memiliki sifat penetrasi kulit yang buruk. Ini karena kafein memiliki sifat hidrofilik. Jadi untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi kafein di lapisan kulit yang lebih dalam, diperlukan vesikel seperti liposom. Proses pembuatan liposom konvensional membutuhkan waktu lama, rumit dan dapat menghasilkan racun dari residu pelarut organik yang digunakan. Simulasi dinamika molekul dapat mengatasi keterbatasan pembuatan liposom konvensional dengan memvisualisasikan ikatan molekul dan menganalisis sifat-sifat liposom berdasarkan interaksi antar ikatan. Molekul kafein akan dikombinasikan dengan molekul kolesterol dan fosfolipid DPPC (1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine). Simulasi dinamika molekul dilakukan pada Kafein dan liposom dengan komposisi Kolesterol - DPPC (1: 1; 1: 2; 1: 4) yang dipanaskan oleh 323 K dalam kotak virtual 100 Å dan diproduksi pada 125 ns. Sistem akan diproses menggunakan kuning. Visualisasi menghasilkan ikatan antar molekul untuk membentuk koleksi padat, ikatan tidak sempurna antar molekul dalam bentuk bola berlubang. Ini karena keterbatasan komputer dan kebutuhan untuk pelarut yang cocok. Sedangkan hasil analisis yang diperoleh dari ketiga liposom di atas stabil pada 323 K dan Kolesterol-DPPC (1: 4) memiliki ikatan paling padat dan volume terkecil adalah 44,7 Å X 43,4 Å X 58,8 Å (X, Y, Z). Energi potensial dari ketiga liposom akan berkurang yang menunjukkan keseimbangan energi di semua liposom.
Liposomes are a drug delivery technology to improve the efficacy and safety of drugs. Liposomes are amphiphilic vesicles that have polar and non-polar sections. This allows the liposome to carry hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs. Caffeine is a psychoactive substance called xanthine alkaloid which has poor skin penetration properties. This is because caffeine has hydrophilic properties. So to increase the concentration of caffeine in the deeper layers of the skin, vesicles such as liposomes are needed. The process of making conventional liposomes takes a long time, is complicated and can produce toxins from the residues of organic solvents used. Molecular dynamics simulations can overcome the limitations of making conventional liposomes by visualizing molecular bonds and analyzing the properties of liposomes based on interactions between bonds. Caffeine molecules will be combined with cholesterol molecules and DPPC phospholipids (1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine). Molecular dynamics simulations were carried out on Caffeine and liposomes with Cholesterol-DPPC composition (1: 1; 1: 2; 1: 4) heated by 323 K in a 100 Å virtual box and produced at 125 ns. The system will be processed using yellow. Visualization produces bonds between molecules to form solid collections, imperfect bonds between molecules in the shape of a hollow ball. This is due to computer limitations and the need for suitable solvents. While the analysis results obtained from the three liposomes above are stable at 323 K and Cholesterol - DPPC (1: 4) has the densest bond and the smallest volume is 44.7 Å X 43.4 Å X 58.8 Å (X, Y, Z). The potential energy of all three liposomes will decrease which shows the energy balance in all liposomes.

Narkoba adalah salah satu obat-obatan yang seringkali digunakan di dalam dunia kedokteran sebagai obat bius karena memiliki efek penenang dan penahan rasa sakit. Efek-efek tersebut merupakan salah satu alasan yang mengundang banyak orang untuk mencoba dan menggunakan narkoba di luar indikasi medik. Penggunaan narkoba tanpa pengawasan memiliki akibat yang sangat buruk, mulai dari ketergantungan hingga munculnya penyakit-penyakit yang mengakibatkan kematian. Peredaran narkoba yang sulit dideteksi mengakibatkan narkoba mudah dijangkau oleh semua kalangan, tidak terkecuali pelajar, mulai dari SMA hingga perguruan tinggi. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis akan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menjelaskan tingkat kecenderungan pemakaian narkoba pada siswa/i SMA Negeri ABC Jakarta. Penulis juga akan melihat pola hubungan antara tingkat kecenderungan pemakaian narkoba dan faktor-faktor lain yang signifikan. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer yang berjumlah 198 responden dari tiga kelas di tingkat 10 dan 11 di SMA Negeri ABC Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah Partial Least Square (PLS) dan analisis korespondensi berganda. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat tiga faktor yang menjelaskan secara signifikan tingkat kecenderungan pemakaian narkoba pada siswa/i SMA Negeri ABC Jakarta, yaitu kecenderungan minum minuman keras, loneliness, dan lingkungan sosial. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa siswa/i SMA Negeri ABC Jakarta dengan kecenderungan pemakaian narkoba yang tinggi memiliki kecenderungan minum minuman keras yang tinggi dan berasal dari lingkungan sosial yang buruk. Selain itu, siswa/i SMA Negeri ABC Jakarta dengan tingkat kecenderungan pemakaian narkoba yang rendah cenderung memiliki tingkat loneliness yang rendah. ......Illegal drugs are a set of substances which are typically used in medical purposes as anesthesia due to its calming and painkiller effects. These effects are one of the reasons people are allured to try and use illegal drugs without medical prescription. The usage of illegal drugs without supervision has severe effects, from addiction to life-threatening diseases. Illegal drugs distribution which are hard to be detected will cause illegal drugs to be easier reached by everyone, including students, from high school to university. On this research, author will identify factors explaining the tendency level of illegal drug usage on SMA Negeri ABC Jakarta students. Author will also observe relational pattern between tendency level of illegal drug usage and other significant factors. The data used is primary data totaling 198 respondents from three classes in grade 10th and 11th in SMA Negeri ABC Jakarta. The method used is Partial Least Square (PLS) and double correspondent analysis. This research found that there are three significant factors affecting the tendency level of illegal drugs usage in SMA Negeri ABC Jakarta students, namely alcohol usage, loneliness, and environment tendencies. This research also found that SMA Negeri ABC Jakarta students with high tendency level of illegal drugs usage have high tendency in drinking alcohols too and are from bad social environment. Moreover, SMA Negeri ABC Jakarta students with low tendency in illegal drugs usage has a low loneliness levels.

The medical benefits of a drug are not only dependent on its biological effect, but also on its "life cycle" within the organism, from its absorption into the blood, distribution to tissue until its eventual breakdown or excretion by the liver and kidneys. Here, the authors, all of them employed at Pfizer in the discovery and development of new active substances, discuss the significant parameters and processes important for the absorption, distribution and retention of drug compounds in the body, plus the potential problems created by their transformation into toxic byproducts. The authors cover everything from the fundamental principles right up to the latest developments using high throughput methods to analyze the pharmacokinetic properties of active substances.
