Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh chlorhexidine gluconate 0,2 yang tidak mengandung alkohol terhadap perubahan warna Semen Ionomer Kaca yang dilapisi coating agent. Spesimen Semen Ionomer Kaca Konvensional dan Semen Ionomer Kaca Modifikasi Resin dilapisi varnish dan nanofilled coating agent masing-masing kelompok berjumlah 10 buah. Spesimen yang telah dilapisi coating agent direndam dalam aquades selama 24 jam pada inkubator bersuhu 37°C. Spesimen dikeluarkan dari inkubator dan direndam dalam chlorhexidine gluconate 0,2 yang tidak mengandung alkohol selama 2 menit setiap hari. Spesimen direndam kembali pada aquades dan diletakkan pada inkubator. Proses ini diulang selama dua minggu. Nilai perubahan warna dihitung setelah perendaman dalam chlorhexidine gluconate 0,2 yang tidak mengandung alkohol pada hari ke-3, ke-7, dan ke-14. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan bermakna pada setiap kelompok yang dilakukan pada hari ke-3, ke-7, dan ke-14 p0,05 serta perbedaan yang bermakna p.
This study aims to analyze the effect of chlorhexidine gluconate 0,2 which does not contain alcohol to discoloration of Glass Ionomer Cement coated by coating agent. Glass Ionomer Cement and Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cements coated by varnish and nanofilled coating agent and 10 specimens each group. Specimens coated by coating agents were incubated in aquades for 24 hours at 37°C. Specimens removed from the incubator and immersed in chlorhexidine gluconate 0,2 which does not contain alcohol once a day for two minutes. Spesimens then were immersed again in aquades and incubated. This process repeated for two weeks. Color measurements were made on day 3, 7, and 14 after the specimen immersed in chlorhexidine gluconate. The result showed that there were significant differences between day 3, 7, and 14 p0,05 on day 3 and 7, and significant differences to Resin Modified Glass Ionomer Cements coated by varnish and nanofilled coating agent.

Abstrak :
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan kuat tarik diametral antara semen ionomer kaca yang diaplikasikan dan tidak diaplikasikan nano filled coating agent. Dibuat 36 spesimen (diameter 6 mm x tebal 3mm) dibagi kedalam 2 kelompok perlakuan, diaplikasikan dan tanpa aplikasi coating agent, direndam dalam aquabides selama (1 jam, 1 hari, 1 minggu). Analisis statistik menggunakan t-test tidak berpasangan. Semen ionomer kaca dengan aplikasi coating agent menunjukan kekuatan yang lebih baik secara signifikan dibandingkan semen ionomer kaca tanpa aplikasi coating agent pada perendaman 1 jam dan 1 minggu. Semen ionomer kaca yang diaplikasikan nanofilled coating agent berpengaruh terhadap kuat tarik diametral.
The aim of this study is to know the differences of diametral tensile strength between glass ionomer cement applicated and not applicated with nano filled coating agent. Made 36 speciments(6.00 mm in diameter x 3.0 mm in height)is devided into 2 group,applicated and not applicated with coating agent and stored in aquabides for(1 hour, 1 day,and 1 week). Statistical analysis using unpaired t-test. Coated glass ionomer cement showed significantly higher strength than uncoated glass ionomer cement storage at 1 hour and 1 week. Coated glass ionomer cement applicated with nano filled coating agent have an effect to diametral tensile strength.

Skripsi ini membahas pengaruh aplikasi pasta CPP-ACP terhadap kekasaran permukaan semen ionomer kaca (SIK) konvensional setelah perendaman Coca Cola® dengan cara merendam dalam akuabides (kontrol), Coca Cola®, serta pengaplikasian pasta CPP-ACP yang didiamkan 30 menit atau langsung direndam Coca Cola®. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan kekasaran permukaan yang signifikan pada kelompok rendaman Coca Cola®, penurunan kekasaran permukaan yang tidak signifikan pada SIK konvensional yang diaplikasikan pasta CPP-ACP langsung direndam Coca Cola® dan penurunan kekasaran permukaan yang signifikan pada SIK konvensional yang diaplikasikan pasta CPP-ACP dan didiamkan 30 menit sebelum direndam Coca Cola®. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini pengaplikasian pasta CPP-ACP baik didiamkan selama 30 menit ataupun langsung direndam Coca Cola® tidak menunjukkan perbedaan penurunan kekasaran permukaan yang signifikan.
This research discusses about the efficacy of application CPP-ACP paste toward surface roughness of conventional glass ionomer cement (GIC) after immersion in Coca Cola® by immersing the specimens in aquabides (control group), Coca Cola®, applying CPP-ACP paste then immersed in Coca Cola® directly or in the next 30 minutes. This research showed that the surface roughness of conventional GIC increased significantly after immersing in Coca Cola®, while after applying CPP-ACP paste then immersed in Coca Cola®, surface roughness of conventional GIC decreased. Furthermore, there were significant decreasing of surface roughness of conventional GIC after applying CPP-ACP paste then immersed in Coca Cola® in the next 30 minutes. The conclusion is the decreasing surface roughness of conventional GIC between after applying CPP-ACP paste then immersed in Coca Cola® directly and in the next 30 minutes are not significantly different.

Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh aplikasi pasta CPP-ACP terhadap kekasaran permukaan semen ionomer kaca modifikasi resin (SIKMR) setelah perendaman dalam Coca Cola® dengan melakukan perendaman spesimen SIKMR dalam akuabides (kontrol), dalam Coca Cola®, pengaplikasian pasta CPP-ACP yang dilanjutkan dengan perendaman dalam Coca Cola®, serta pengaplikasian pasta CPP-ACP yang didiamkan 30 menit kemudian dilanjutkan perendaman dalam Coca Cola®. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan kekasaran permukaan yang signifikan pada spesimen yang direndam Coca Cola®, penurunan kekasaran permukaan yang tidak signifikan pada spesimen yang diaplikasikan pasta CPP ACP kemudian direndam Coca Cola®, serta penurunan kekasaran permukaan yang signifikan pada spesimen yang diaplikasikan pasta CPP ACP dan didiamkan selama 30 menit kemudian direndam Coca Cola®. Dapat disimpulkan pengaplikasian pasta CPP ACP langsung direndam Coca Cola® maupun didiamkan 30 menit tidak menunjukkan perbedaan kekasaran permukaan yang signifikan.
This study discusses the effect of CPP-ACP paste applications on surface roughness of resin modified glass ionomer cement (RMGIC) after immersing in Coca Cola® by means of RMGIC specimens immersed in aquabidest (control), immersed in Coca Cola®, applied by CPP-ACP paste then immersed in Coca Cola®, and applied by CPP-ACP paste then immersed in Coca Cola® 30 minutes later. There is a significant increase in surface roughness of the specimens immersed in Coca Cola®, no significant decrease in surface roughness of the specimens applied by CPP-ACP paste then immersed in Coca Cola®, and a significant decrease in surface roughness of the specimen applied by CPP-ACP then immersed in Coca Cola® 30 minutes later. It can be concluded that the application of CPP ACP paste either directly immersed in Coca Cola® or not, did not show a significant difference in surface roughness.

The aim of this laboratory study was to assess selected physicochemical properties of three root canal sealers. The solubility, setting time and radiopacity of AH Plus, EndoREZ and RealSeal SE were evaluated. The solubility was determined by weight loss of specimens in water over a period of 28 days. Setting time and radiopacity were assessed according to ANSI/ADA and ISO specifications using an aluminum step wedge calibrated in millimeters and the intendention test using a Gilmore needle. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and the Student–Newman–Keuls test for pairwise comparisons. AH Plus was significantly less soluble, showed the significantly highest radiopacity and displayed the significantly longest setting time of all sealers (P < 0.01). At all exposure times, EndoREZ was significantly more soluble than the other sealers (P < 0.01) and displayed the significantly lowest values regarding radiopacity (P < 0.01). Analysis showed that setting time and radiopacity for all sealers met the ANSI/ADA and ISO standards. Solubility of AH Plus and RealSeal confirmed the ANSI/ADA and ISO specification, while EndoREZ clearly exceeded the proposed solubility value. Out of all sealers tested, AH Plus obtained the best values for all properties.
