"Tesis ini menyelidiki representasi isu perempuan dalam Korpus Nh. Dini (KND) yang terdiri atas enam novel Nh. Dini, yaitu Hati yang Damai (HYD), Pada Sebuah Kapal (PSK), Namaku Hiroko (NH), La Barka (LB), Keberangkatan (KE), dan Jalan Bandungan (JB) dengan menggunakan analisis kata kunci. Fisher-Starcke (2010:) menyatakan bahwa analisis kata kunci merupakan salah satu cara teknik dalam kajian stilistika korpus. Archer (2009) dan Lauder (2009) menyatakan bahwa penyelidikan terhadap kata kunci mampu mengungkap representasi isu dalam sebuah korpus. Adapun temuan yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat empat isu yang direpresentasikan dalam KND, yaitu isu pernikahan, isu ketimpangan gender, isu subjektivitas, dan isu kekerasan seksual. (2) Enam novel tersebut memiliki intensitas yang berbeda dalam mengeksplorasi keempat isu tersebut.

This thesis investigates women's issue representation in Nh. Dini's Corpus (KND) which comprises six novels; Hati yang Damai (HYD), Pada Sebuah Kapal (PSK), Namaku Hiroko (NH), La Barka (LB), Keberangkatan (KE), dan Jalan Bandungan (JB) by using keyword analysis. Fischer-Starcke (2010) explains that keyword analysis is one technique used in corpus stylistic study. Archer (2009) and Lauder (2009) state that investigation of keyword can reveal issue representation within a corpus. The findings of this study indicate that (1) there are four issues represented in KND, namely marriage, gender inequality, subjectivity, and sexual violence issues; (2) each novel represents the four issues in different intensity."

"Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan ughtea, slang bahasa Arab ukhti, sebagai istilah kekerabatan dankorelasinya terhadap identitas dalam microblogging pada Twitter Indonesia. Secara semantis, ukhti bermaknasaudara perempuan persona tunggal dalam konteks biologis dan ideologis. Dalam dua tahun terakhir (2018—2020), terdapat pergeseran semantik istilah ukhti sebagai bentuk sindiran pengguna Twitter Indonesia terhadapeksklusivitas dan ketidaksesuaian penggunaan istilah ukhti, khusunya di kalangan Muslim konservatif diIndonesia, dengan memodifikasi kata tersebut menjadi ughtea yang maknanya cenderung degeneratif. Alhasil,makna istilah ukhti mengalami peyorasi. Berdasarkan klasifikasi Internet People atau Masyarakat Internet olehMcCulloch, para pengguna ini dikategorikan sebagai Post Internet People atau Masyarakat Post Internet.Permasalahan penelitian ini berfokus pada pergeseran semantis kata ukhti menjadi ughtea sebagai ekspresi satirdalam aspek analisis penutur, istilah, dan penggunaan istilah dalam konteks peyorasi. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk menganalisis penggunaan kedua istilah dengan menggunakan pendekatan linguistik korpus dan modelAppraisal oleh Martin dan White. Sumber data diperoleh dari berbagai mikropos para pengguna Twitter Indonesia dalam periode waktu Oktober 2019.

This research investigates the pragmatic of ughtea, a slang from ukhti, as a term of address slang and identity in

Twitter’s prominent behaviour on virtual sphere: microblogging. Semantically, ukhti refers to “sister” of

possessive pronoun of the first person i.e. the speaker, both in biological and ideological contexts. During these

past two years (2018—2019), the usage of the term ukhti has undergone the extension of its meaning through its

use among Indonesian Twitter users by changing its form into ughtea as a slang with degenerative meaning, in

order to insinuate the exclusivity of the use of the term ukhti among Indonesian conservative Muslims and the

misbehaviour of ukhti. As a result, the meaning of the term ukhti experiences pejoration. These certain Indonesian

Twitter users, according to McCulloch’s classification of Internet People, are classified as Post Internet People.

This research problem focuses on the analysis of the speakers, terms, and how both terms used in the context of

pejoration. This study aims to analyse both terms in terms of shifting meaning in terms of speakers, speech, and

usage by implementing corpus linguistic approach and Martin and White’s appraisal system. Data sources were obtained from Twitter users' tweets during a certain period (October 2019)."

"Disertasi ini membahas medan makna verba bahasa Inggris bidang ekonomi dari sudut pandang semantik leksikal berbasis korpus. Medan makna dalam penelitian ini didasarkan pada relasi sintagmatis atau yang disebut dengan kolokasi dan bertujuan agar dapat mengungkapkan rumpang konseptual medan makna kosakata bidang ekonomi increase, improve, raise, develop, expand, extend, dan enhance bagi penutur Inggris dan penutur bahasa Inggris yang berbahasa ibu bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian dalam disertasi ini menggunakan kombinasi ancangan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan komparatif serta pendekatan linguistik korpus. Sumber data penelitian berasal dari teks digital bidang ekonomi para mahasiswa Inggris (British Academic Written English/ BAWE) dan teks digital mandiri yang berisi artikel-artikel dari jurnal nasional terakreditasi Sinta 2 (Indonesian Economic Written English/ IEWE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan medan makna yang dibangun oleh makna kolokat verba increase, improve, raise, develop, expand, extend, dan enhance bahasa Inggris yang digunakan oleh penutur bahasa Inggris dan penutur bahasa Indonesia merepresentasikan rumpang-rumpang konseptual yang dimiliki penutur-penutur tersebut.

This dissertation discusses the semantic field of economic English verbs from a study of corpus-based lexical semantics. The semantic field in this research is based on a syntagmatic relation or what is called collocation and aims to reveal the conceptual gaps of the semantic fields of economic field vocabularies increase, improve, raise, develop, expand, extend, and enhance for English speakers and English language speakers whose mother tongue is Indonesian language. The research method in this dissertation uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches with descriptive and comparative methods as well as corpus linguistic approach. The research data sources come from the economic digital texts of British students (British Academic Writing English/ BAWE) and independent digital texts containing articles from the Sinta 2 accredited national journals (Indonesian Economic Writing English/ IEWE). The result of the research showed that the semantic fields differences constructed by the meanings of collocations of English verbs increase, improve, raise, develop, expand, extend, enhance used by English speakers and Indonesian language speakers represent the conceptual gaps possessed by those speakers."
