Abstrak :
Salah satu hal penting dalam manajemen proyek konstruksi adalah tahap estirnasi awal (conceptual). Menurut AACE tahap konseptual dibuat dengan keterbatasan informasi pada lingkup proyek, belum masuk dalarn tahap desain dan engineering. Menurut AACE akurasi tahap konseptual berada pada rentang -20% sampai +30% dari biaya proyek sebenarnya. Teknik jaringan saraf timan merupakan salah satu cabang dari Artificial Intelegence yang berguna memecahkan masalah dengan meniru cara keija otak manusia. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan teknik JST dalam memodelkan estirnasi biaya konseptual proyek konstruksi bangunan pabrik. Model estirnasi biaya berbasis JST kemudian dikembangkan ke dalam sistem prototype yang mampu mengestirnasi biaya konseptual konstruksi bangunan pabrik dengan waktu yang relative singkat dan akurat. ......One of the important things in construction project management is the stage of initial estimates (conceptual). AACE in the conceptual stage is made with limited information on the scope of the project ang has not entered into the stage of design and engineering. The conceptual stage by AACE as accuracy in the estimation of conceptual expected to be in the range -20% to +30% of actual project costs. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is onebrach of Artificial Intelligence which is useful in terms of solving problems by Artificial Intelligence which is useful in terms mimicking the workings of the human brain. This study will explore the use of ANN techniques in modeling the estimated cost of plant construction project conceptually. ANN-based cost estimation model and then developed into a prototype system that is able to estimate the cost of conceptual of factory building with a relatively short time and accurate.
