Abstrak :
Skripsi ini membahas perubahan peran wanita pada saat kerajaan Joseon ke modern Korea ditinjau dari sudut pandang ajaran Konfusianisme. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perubahan peran wanita Joseon yang hanya sebatas urusan rumah tangga ke masa modern Korea dengan memasuki dunia kerja. Dari penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perubahan peran wanita Joseon ke modern Korea menimbulkan dampak positif dan negatif. Selain itu, sistem patriarki dan hierarki yang berdasarkan ajaran Konfusianisme tetap berjalan, seperti masih terdapatnya diskriminasi jender dalam hal pembagian dan kesempatan kerja. ......The focus of this study is the changing of women in the Joseon dynasty into Modern Korea reviewed from the perspective of the teachings of Confucianism. The purpose of this study to know changes the role of Joseon women that only for household affairs to the modern Korea with entering the workforce. From this descriptive qualitative research can be concluded that the changing role of Joseon women to modern Korea the impact of positive and negative. In addition, the patriarchal and hierarchy system based on the teachings of Confucianism remains running, as there is still gender discrimination in terms of distribution and employment opportunities.

Fenomena molka merupakan kasus kekerasan berupa foto atau rekaman video tanpa izin dengan menggunakan kamera berukuran kecil dan tersembunyi. Sementara itu norma Konfusianisme sebagai norma yang mengatur hubungan antarmanusia termasuk hubungan antara laki-laki dan perempuan di Korea Selatan dianggap turut andil dalam berkembangnya fenomena molka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak norma Konfusianisme pada penyebaran luas fenomena molka di Korea Selatan, dengan fokus pada perempuan sebagai objek utama. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan teknik studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa norma Konfusianisme berkontribusi pada pembentukan budaya patriarki yang kuat di struktur sosial Korea Selatan. Budaya patriarki ini, secara erat terkait dengan fenomena molka karena memicu ketidaksetaraan gender. Perempuan menjadi objek dalam fenomena molka karena didukung oleh pandangan masyarakat yang menempatkan perempuan dalam hierarki yang lebih rendah dan posisi subordinate. ......Molka phenomenon involves cases of violence where photos or videos are taken without consent using small and hidden cameras. Meanwhile, Confucianism norms which regulate interpersonal relationships, including those between men and women in South Korea are considered to play a role in the development of the molka phenomenon. This study aims to analyze the impact of Confucianism norms on the widespread occurrence of the molka phenomenon in South Korea, with a focus on women as the primary subjects. The method employed in this study is qualitative descriptive using literature review techniques. The research findings indicate that Confucianism norms contribute to the formation of a strong patriarchal culture in the social structure of South Korea. This patriarchal culture is closely linked to the molka phenomenon as it triggers gender inequality. Women become the subjects of the molka phenomenon due to societal perspectives that place them in a lower hierarchy and subordinate position.

Korea has one of the most diverse religious cultures in the world today, with a range and breadth of religious practice virtually unrivaled by any other country. Korea dikenal sebagai negara paling Konfusianisme di dunia. Konfusianisme mempengaruhi hampir seluruh aspek kehidupan masyarakat Korea, termasuk di antaranya keberadaan perempuan. Perempuan dalam ajaran Konfusianisme hidup tanpa memperoleh kebebasan untuk melakukan hal sesuai dengan keinginan mereka. Kedudukan perempuan juga dianggap lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan laki-laki dan perempuan tidak dianggap penting di dalam masyarakat. Kemudian, mereka juga tidak bisa memperoleh pendidikan formal seperti laki-laki. Selain itu, perempuan juga tidak dapat berpartisipasi di dunia kerja karena tidak memiliki kebebasan untuk keluar rumah. Namun, seiring dengan berjalannya waktu dan kemajuan teknologi, Korea kini mengalami banyak perubahan dan berkembang tidak terkecuali perempuan Korea. Maka, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analisis, penelitian ini ingin menjabarkan bagaimana dinamika perkembangan peran perempuan Korea dari Dinasti Joseon sampai Abad 21 ditinjau dari sudut pandang budaya Konfusianisme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran perempuan Korea dari Dinasti Joseon sampai Abad 21 ditinjau dari sudut pandang Konfusianisme mengalami dinamika perkembangan yang signifikan. ......Korea is a country most known for it?s strong belief of Confucianism. Confucianism has a significant effect in the aspect of living, particularly in Korean society, such as the existence of women. On the principle of Confucianism, women live without freedom to do something as they wished. Their status is considered to be lower than men in the Confucian hierarchy. They have no importance in the society; they cannot pursue the same formal education as men. Furthermore, women are unable to participate in the variety of occupations because they do not have the freedom to go out. However, as the time passes and the developing of technologies, Korea has changed due to the influence of a lot of things, including existence of women. Thus, with the using of descriptive analysis method, this study wants to describe about the dynamics of women?s role in Korea from Joseon Dynasty until the 21st century from the point of view of Confucian culture. The results showed that the role of Korean women of the Joseon Dynasty until the 21st century from the point of view of Confucian culture experienced significant development dynamics.
