Kehadiran industry online gaming semakin bertambah kuat setiap hari. Dalam ruang lingkup tren user-generated content (UGC) seperti live streams dan video, content creator butuh karakteristik unik yang lebih baik untuk dapat menjadi sukses. Tyler Ninja Blevins adalah salah satu dari banyak contoh streamer dari platform streaming online Twitch yang meraih kesuksesan melalui proses yang terus-menerus. Passion dan dedikasinya terhadap dunia gaming berjalan seiringan dengan personal branding yang pintar dan jujur, di mana hal ini membantu Ninja dalam meraih karirnya yang sukses. Popularitas Ninja yang sangat besar memberikan banyak keuntungan baginya, seperti mendapatkan sponsor dari perusahaan besar hingga tampil di beberapa media mainstream. Tapi, lebih dari itu, kesuksesannya memberikan Ninja sebuah status baru sebagai internet celebrity. In the wake of the trend of usergenerated content (UGC) such as live streams and videos, creators need better distinctive characteristics in order to be successful. Tyler Ninja Blevins is one of the many examples of an astonishing streaming platform Twitch streamer that gains success through a constant process. His passion and dedication towards gaming industry are in parallel with his clever and honest personal branding, helping him create a successful career. Ninjas huge popularity brings him a fortune, getting sponsorships deals from big companies and being featured in multiple mainstream media. But, more than that, this success gains him a new status as an internet celebrity. This article will describe how Ninjas personal branding plays a role in his success as a streamer and how it brings him the status of internet celebrity.

This handbook aims to reflect the relevance and value of studying digital games. As an overview of the current state of research into digital gaming, the 42 papers included in this handbook focus on the social and cultural relevance of gaming. The contributions, which range from theoretical approaches to empirical studies, cover various topics including analyses of games themselves, the player-game interaction, and the social context of gaming. In addition, the educational aspects of games and gaming are treated in a discrete section.
