"Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pcngembngan optinisasi kode menengah yang akan diterapkan pada kompilator bahasa IKI4I336. Kompilator bahasa IKI41336 yang ada tidak memiliki pengoptimasi kode, sehingga kode tujuan yang dihasilkannya tidak optimal. Hasil pengembangan opimisasi pada kompilator IKI41336 menunjukan bahwa optimisasi lokal dan global yang diterapkan dalam beberapa contoh progam sumber, mampu neningkatkan efiensi dari kode tujuan yang dihasilkannya Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada besar pengurangan jumlah operasi aritmaika dan jumlah memori yang digunakan untuk program tujuan."
