"[ABSTRAKDalam suatu percakapan, seseorang terkadang menyisipkan bahasa asing (Inggris), khususnya orang-orang yangberpendidikan tinggi. Ketika seseorang menggabungkan dua bahasa atau lebih saat berbicara, ia telahmenggunakan campur kode. Campur kode memiliki beberapa tipe dan faktor penyebab. Selain pada kalimatkalimatujaran,campurkodejugabanyakditemukandalambentuktulisanterutamadalammediacetak.Tulisaninimembahas masalah tipe-tipe campur kode dan faktor penyebab penggunaan campur kode yang terdapatdalam majalah Elle pada rubrik onlinenya, yaitu ?mode?. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tipe-tipecampur kode dalam majalah tersebut dan faktor penyebabnya. Data diambil dari periode Oktober sampaiNovember (2014). Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa tipe penyisipan paling banyak ditemukan dalam rubrikrubriktersebut. Faktor-faktor penyebabnya yaitu kurangnya padanan kata, penekanan yang ingin diberikankepada pembaca, dan kemampuan berbahasa yang dapat memberi nuansa lebih indah terhadap suatu wacana.

When someone combines two languages or more while speaking, he has been using the code mixing.Code mixing has several types and causal factors. In addition to the form of speech, code mixing can also befound in the form of writing, especially in printed media. This study analyses the types and the causal factors ofcode mixing in Elle magazine in its online article, ?mode?. ABSTRACTMultilingual society has a variety of languages which allows someone to be bilingual. A bilingual person will often do a mixture of one language with another language. One of the results of the mix between languages is code mixing. Code mixing in the movie Soegija (2012) will be discussed in this journal by using descriptive analysis method. The issue which will be analyzed is the types of code mixing process, by looking over Muysken theory, and these types of code mixing process will be analyzed in the level of words, phrases, and sentences. This journal also analyzes the triggering factors of code mixing by using Janet Holmes theory. From the data analysis done, the three types of code mixing process are found and most of the code mixing occur on the sentence level. Triggering factors of code mixing that appear are solidarity, topic, and status differences.
