Gerakan Pembaharuan Karismatik Katolik merupakan gerakan yang paling cepat pertumbuhannya dalam Gereja Katolik. Tujuan utama gerakan ini adalah untuk menghidupkan kembali peranan karisma-karisma Roh Kudus dalam kehidupan Gereja. Wujud nyata dari gerakan ini adalah terbentuknya kelompok-kelompok persekutuan doa pembaharuan karismatik di Paroki. Kegiatan utama kelompok persekutuan doa adalah penyelenggaraan acara persekutuan doa secara rutin. Studi ini berusaha untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mendorong muncul, bertahan dan berkembangnya kelompok persekutuan doa serta untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kelompok tersebut telah mencapai tahap institusionalisasi.

Dengan menggunakan teori Berger-Luckmann dan metodologi penelitian kualitatif, studi ini difokuskan pada kelompok persekutuan doa Maria Bunda Perantara dan Fransiskus Asisi yang bertempat di Paroki Maria Bunda Perantara dan Paroki Hati Kudus, Keuskupan Agung Jakarta.

Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa kelompok persekutuan doa bisa muncul, bertahan dan berkembang karena kelompok ini mampu memenuhi kebutuhan individu para anggotanya akan keselamatan. Orientasi gerakan pembaharuan karismatik katolik yang tidak menolak atau mengubah dunia (tatasosial yang ada), memudarnya bentuk kehidupan komunitas dan kurangnya intensitas interaksi antara para fungsionaris Gereja Katolik dengan umatnya merupakan faktor yang bersifat konduksif bagi muncul, bertahan dan berkembangnya kelompok persekutuan doa. Hasil studi juga menunjukkan bahwa telah ada proses habitualisasi dan tipifikasi maknamakna dunia pembaharuan karismatik di antara para anggcta kelompok persekutuan doa. Namun demikian, kelompok persekutuan doa belum mencapai tahap institusionalisasi. Kelompok persekutuan doa belum menjadi institusi.

Abstrak :
here is one issue in Jose Rizal’s life that historians have debated on several occasions but remains unsettled. That issue is whether Rizal, on the eve of his death, re-embraced the Catholic faith and disassociated himself from Masonry. The matter is controversial because parties on both sides are affiliated with an organization that promotes moral values and the pursuit of truth. The pro-retraction camp is represented by the Jesuits, the archbishop of Manila, and a few other members of the Catholic hierarchy. Since they are all ordained priests, they are assumed to be truthful in their pronouncements. Their opponents are the members of Masonry, an organization that promotes brotherhood, integrity, decency, and professionalism. This paper resurrects the retraction controversy in the light of the emergence of another primary source that speaks about what happened to Rizal on the eve of his death. This document was never considered in the history of the retraction controversy because it was made available to researchers only in the past decade. The author of the report is a credible eyewitness because he was physically present in the vicinity of where Rizal was detained. His narrative is lucid and contains details that cast doubt on the credibility and reliability of earlier primary sources on which previous narratives were based. This document needs serious consideration and should be included in the discourse on Rizal’s retraction.

Ketika kita berbicara mengenai kelompok sosial secara umum maupun kelompok agama secara khusus, kita juga akan berbicara mengenai nilai-nilai dari kelompok tersebut. Dalam tubuh Gereja Katolik, nilai-nilai yang dibawa oleh kelompok diejawantahkan melalui konsep communi atau persekutuan. Konsepsi ini dipelopori oleh Konsili Vatikan II, sebuah gerakan revolusioner yang dimulai oleh Gereja Katolik semenjak tahun 1962 hingga sekarang. Gerakan tersebut didasari oleh paham kolegialitas yang menghasilkan communio sebagai suatu konsepsi akan kehidupan menggereja yang ideal pada konteks masyarakat modern. Nilai-nilai tersebut tentunya tidak akan berjalan tanpa adanya penerus. Maka dari itulah, terdapat kaum muda Gereja Katolik yang berada di dalam organisasi kepemudaan Paroki atau OMK (Orang Muda Katolik). Penelitian ini melihat sebuah proses konstruksi sosial yang terjadi dalam tubuh Gereja Katolik melalui konstruksi nilai-nilai communio atau persekutuan terhadap OMK itu sendiri. Penelitian ini menemukan bagaimana dalam tubuh kelompok agama sendiri, terdapat ketidakseragaman di dalam sub-kelompoknya, yang mana hal ini berpengaruh pada proses konstruksi tersebut. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat merepresentasikan kondisi kaum muda serta kelompok agama di tengah dinamika masyarakat perkotaan serta konteks masyarakat modern. ......When we`re talking about social groups in general or religious groups in specific manner, we`ll also be talking about the groups` values. In Catholic Church, the values carried by the group are projected through the concept of communio or communion. This concept was pioneered by a revolutionary movement of Catholic Church from 1962s until now, Second Vatican Council. Such movement was based by the idea of colegiality which surfacing communio as the concept of ideal Church life in the context of modern society. Those values wouldn`t be succeed without successors. Hence the existence of Catholic Youths through OMK (Orang Muda Katolik) which also the internal part of Youth Organizations in the Parish. This research seeks the proccess of social construction emerged in the very own Catholic Church through the construction of the values of communio to OMK. This researh also finds how diversities are found in a religious group`s sub-groups, which resulting in the whole proccess of social construction itself. The conclusion of this research is hoped to represent the both youths and religious groups` condition in the middle of the urban society`s dynamics in the context of modern society.

Skripsi ini membahas Pastur Militer, sebuah peran yang menempatkan individu dalam dua institusi total. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengungkap peran Pastur Militer di dalam TNI dan Gereja, sembari melihat relasi di antara kedua institusi tersebut menggunakan studi pustaka. Subyek penelitian studi kasus ini adalah seorang Pastur Militer di lingkungan TNI AU. Setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan imamat, beliau melanjutkan ke dalam pendidikan militer. Data yang ditemukan menggambarkan bahwa dalam banyak hal, ternyata militer dan Gereja memiliki karakteristik yang serupa sehingga melatar-belakangi relasi yang tercipta. Dinamika relasi kedua institusi tersebut dalam koteks Indonesia ikut menggeser perubahan fungsi Pastur Militer. Pada level individu, diketahui bahwa peran ganda subyek penelitian ini telah dan masih berpotensi menimbulkan konflik peran, walaupun pada lain pihak habitus yang muncul justru membangun sebuah karakteristik khas seorang Pastur Militer di Indonesia. ......This thesis elaborates the Catholic Chaplaincy, a role that puts a person at two total institutions. This research used qualitative approach to uncover the role of Military Priest within the military base and as well the Church, while looking at the relation between the two institutions aforementioned using literature research. The subject of this case study is a military priest in the Air Force. After completing the education from seminary as well teological studies, he went into the military academy. The data found is this research suggest that in many cases, it turns out the military and the church have same characteristics that allowed the relation to be established between them. The dynamics upon this relation triggered the role shift for the Military Priest. Moving focus at the individual extent, we will see how the multiple roles for the Priest increase the possibility of a role conflict to occurs, while on the other hand, his habitus creates a new characteristic as a priest and soldier.
