"Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana gamifikasi berkontribusi pada penciptaan nilai positive affect, hedonic value, dan reward satisfaction di konteks e-commerce dan bagaimana penciptaan nilai ini berkaitan dengan brand engagement. Penelitian ini dibangun dengan semi eksperimen menggunakan kuesioner, dan melibatkan pengguna aplikasi Shopee 3 bulan terakhir yang telah memainkan permainan yang ditentukan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gamifikasi mempengaruhi hedonic value suatu aktivitas dan efek ini dijelaskan oleh positive affect. Hedonic value dibandingkan dengan reward satisfaction, sebagai prediktor dari niat brand engagement. Akhirnya, gamifikasi melalui continue engagement intention memiliki pengaruh positif dengan brand engagement
The purpose of this study is to understand how gamification contributes to customer value creation in the e-commerce context and how this value creation is related to brand engagement. This study builds on survey, involving Shopee application users. Participants are exposed to one condition: using the Shopee application for the past 3 months. The findings show that gamification affects the hedonic value of an activity and that this effect can be partly explained by a positive influence. When hedonic values are compared with satisfaction with prizes, hedonic values are found as better predictors of intentions for continuing involvement. Finally, gamification through the intention of ongoing involvement is positively related to brand involvement."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi media sosial yang terdiri dari firm generated contents (FGC) dan user generated contents (UGC) yang sudah diterapkan oleh merek Piattos pada akun Instagram @piattosrame terhadap keseluruhan brand equity yang merupakan gabungan dari dimensinya yaitu; brand awareness/association; perceived quality; dan brand loyalty. Penelitian menggunakan data kuesioner dari 155 responden yang seluruhnya merupakan pengikut akun Instagram @piattosrame dan secara aktif berkomunikasi dengan akun tersebut. Kemudian, data di olah secara empiris menggunakan structuran equation model untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasilnya, komunikasi media sosial melalui UGC dan FGC keduanya secara signifikan memberikan pengaruh positif kepada keseluruhan brand equity secara tidak langsung, atau melalui mediasi dari dimensi-dimensinya, yaitu brand awareness/association, perceived quality, dan brand loyalty. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan pengertian lebih lanjut bagi para manajer mengenai pengaruh penggunaan media sosial Instagram dengan komunikasi media sosial yang terarah terhadap brand equity.
This study aims to determine the effect of social media communication consisting firm generated contents (FGC) and user generated contents (UGC) which have been implemented by the Piattos brand on Instagram @piattosrame accounts on overall brand equity, which is a combination of its dimensions namely; brand awareness / association; perceived quality; and brand loyalty. The study used questionnaire data from 155 respondents who were all followers of @piattosrame Instagram account, and actively communicated with the account. Then, the data is processed empirically using structured equation models to test hypotheses. As a result, social media communication through UGC and FGC both significantly indirectly provides a positive influence on overall brand equity, through the mediation of its dimensions, namely brand awareness / association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty. The results of this study can provide further understanding for managers regarding the effect of using Instagram social media with a directed and personalised social media communication towards brand equity."

"Tesis ini membahas mengenai persepsi pelanggan deterjen Rinso dan persepsi pelanggan deteljen So Klin terhadap atribut yang dipertimbangkan daiam pembelian deterjen dan evaiuasi kinerja atribut produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dipertimbangkan dalam pembelian deteljen, serta perbedaan persepsi antara pelanggan Rinso dan pe1anggan So Klin terhadap atribut deterjen. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian eksploratif dengan in depth interview dan desk:riptif melalui survei. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan terdapat 3 faktor bagi pelanggan Rinso serta terdapat 4 faktor bagi pelanggan So Klin yang dipertimbangkan dalam keputusan pembelian deterjen; terdapat perbedaan persepsi signifikan antara pelanggan Rinso dan pelanggan So Klin pada salah satu atribut deterjen.
The focus of this study is about learning costumer perceptions of powder detergent from two brands "Rinso" and "So Klin" to product attributes and evaluation of product performance. This purpose of this study is to analyze how many factors that influences consumer decision making when buying powder detergent products, and to search the difference of perceptions to product attributes between the customers from two brands. This research is qualitative explorative and descriptive design. The data were collected by means in depth interview and a survey. The research found that there are 3 factors for costumer of Rinso and 4 factors for customer of So Klin when making a purchase decision. The research showed there is significant difference of perception between the customer of Rinso and customer of So Klin in one of the product attributes."

"Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pemaknaan khalayak terhadap upaya peremajaan merek untuk membangun kembali citra merek melalui komunikasi pemasaran terpadu, dengan mengangkat kasus kampanye #FearlessBeauty oleh Sariayu Martha Tilaar. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan wawancara mendalam dengan khalayak, peneliti ingin mendeskripsikan bagaimana khalayak memaknai upaya peremajaan merek yang dilakukan Sariayu untuk membangun kembali citra mereknya menjadi lebih muda, melalui kampanye #FearlessBeauty. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada khalayak yang memaknai bahwa citra Sariayu telah berubah menjadi lebih muda secara keseluruhan, dikarenakan pemilihan strategi komunikasi pemasarannya yang kurang sesuai dengan target khalayak. Walau begitu, dari hasil temuan, terdapat saluran komunikasi yang memiliki potensi untuk dimanfaatkan dengan lebih maksimal karena dianggap cukup relevan dengan khalayaknya, yakni strategi pemasaran melalui influencer. Strategi ini dapat menjadi opsi utama bagi merek-merek lain dengan kasus serupa yang ingin meremajakan mereknya melalui program komunikasi pemasaran.
This research discusses audiences’ reception towards brand rejuvenation efforts to rebuild brand image through integrated marketing communication, through the case of #FearlessBeauty campaign by Sariayu Martha Tilaar. Through a qualitative approach and in-depth interviews with audiences, this study describes how audience interprets Sariayu's brand rejuvenation efforts through the #FearlessBeauty campaign and its implication to its previously old brand image. The results showed that there was no audience who interpreted that Sariayu's brand image had become younger overall, due to the selection of its marketing communication strategy that was not in line with the target audience. Even so, there is still a channel that has the potential to be further utilized to maximize the campaign’s exposure, namely influencer marketing strategy. This strategy can be an ideal option for other brands with the same problems, who wants to rejuvenate their brands through marketing communication programs."

"Penelitian ini menjelaskan feedback effect yang terjadi pada brand image Magnum setelah adanya brand extension - Magnum Cafe. Menggunakan elemenelemen brand equity sebagai latent untuk mengukur evaluasi konsumen terhadap extension yang secara langsung menjadi salah satu faktor final brand image. Peneliti pada tahapan awal melakukan riset eksploratori untuk mendapatkan gambaran dan pemahaman mengenai permasalahan penelitian, untuk menjadi input pada tahap selanjutnya yaitu riset konklusif (deskriptif). Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan pembagian kuesioner dengan sampel 216 orang konsumen Magnum (es krim dan Café). Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa extension attitude dan initial brand image berpengaruh positif terhadap final brand image.
This research examines feedback effect of Magnum’s brand image after the extension – Magnum Cafe. Uses elements of brand equity as latent to measure evaluation of the extension that directly connect to final brand image. Researchers in the early stages use exploratory research to gain an overview and understanding the case problem, thus will be used as input for conclusive (descriptive) research. Data obtained in this study is based on the distribution of the questionnaire with 216 sample of Magnum’s consumers (ice cream and Café). The survey results revealed that the extension attitude and initial brand image have positive effect on final brand image."

"Pertumbuhan Film Indonesia beberapa tahun terakhir diikuti dengan menjamurnya kemunculan product placement di dalamnya. Beberapa film yang mengambil setting pada tahun lawas justru sering memunculkan brand-brand yang sebenarnya belum ada pada saat itu. Munculnya beberapa brand pada setting cerita film di waktu yang salah tersebut (misleading), dilakukan oleh beberapa brand yang menjadi TOP Brand. Apakah ketidakhati-hatian ini akan berdampak negatif kepada brand attitude dari konsumennya?
Dalam tesis ini dilakukan penelitian mengenai brand attitude mahasiswa terhadap brand yang melakukan misleading product placement pada Film Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah brand equity dan film sebagai media product placement dapat meredam misleading product placement.
Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen 2x2 (Misleading Product Placement: 1x Exposure dan 2x Exposure) x (Brand Equity: Known Brand dan Unknown Brand) untuk studi 1, sedangkan studi 2 menggunakan eksperimen 2x1 (Misleading Product Placement) x (Movie: Favorite dan Least Favorite).
Hasil penelitian tesis ini, bahwa ternyata misleading product placement memiliki dampak negatif terhadap brand attitude konsumen mahasiswa serta brand equity dan film dapat meredam misleading product placement. Sehingga para marketers dan brand owners disarankan agar berhatihati dalam melakukan product placement.
The Indonesian Film growth in Indonesia in recent years is followed by emergence of product placement in it. Some of the films that take old setting often raises brands that have not been occured at that time. The emerging of some brand on the setting of the film at the inappropriate time (misleading), performed by some brand that became TOP Brand. Is the carelessness will impact negatively on the brand attitude of consumers? In this research about student attitude toward the brand that is doing product placement in the Indonesian movies. The purpose of this study is to examine whether brand equity and movie as a product placement medium to reduce the misleading product placement. This research uses 2x2 Experimental Design (Misleading Product Placement: 1x and 2x Exposure Exposure) x (Brand Equity: Brand Known and Unknown Brand) for first study, whereas second study uses Experimental 2x1 (Misleading Product Placement) x (Movie: Favorite and Least Favorite). The results of this research is that the misleading product placement actually has negative impacts on student consumer brand attitude, and also brand equity and movie can reduce misleading product placement. Therefore, marketers and brand owners are advised to be careful in doing product placement."

"Penelitian ini secara khusus membahas tentang brand positioning dalam politik. Partai politik sebagai subjek dan unsur terpenting dalam demokrasi di Indonesia, Perbandingan brand positioning yang dimiliki masing-masing partai politik adalah inti dari penelitian ini. Dengan melihat berbagai atribut yang dimiliki, positioning partai dapat dideskripsikan secara jelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan variable yang terangkum dari berbagai jurnal penelitian. Terdapat Golkar, PDIP, Demokrat, PKS dan Gerindra atas pertimbangan pengalaman yang dimiliki dari Pemilu yang telah diikuti. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan software statistik IBM SPSS versi 21. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan positioning partai politik dapat terkonfigurasi melalui perceptual map. Beberapa atribut yang tersaji dalam penelitian membantu pemilih dalam hal ini responden untuk dapat menilai image dari sebuah partai.
This research specifically discover brand positioning in politics. Political party as the most important element for democracy in Indonesia. Comparison of party's positioning is the essence of this recent research. By determining many attributes, party's positioning can be defined clearly. This research is adapted many variables that combining many scientific articles. There are Golkar, PDIP, Demokrat, PKS and Gerindra considering their experiences of its successive election. Data processing of its research is using statistical software IBM SPSS version 21. The outcome distinct the positioning of political parties configured by its perceptual map. Furthermore, few attributes on this research help respondents to discover party's images."

"Pakaian merupakan kategori produk yang paling banyak dibeli oleh pengguna internet di Indonesia. Nila ritel dari kategori pakaian dan sepatu (fashion) mengalami kenaikan secara signifikan pada tiga tahun terakhir. Hal tersebut mendorong berkembangnya fashion online retailer di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel product brand image , online store image¸ financial risk, product risk, dan time risk terhadap purchase intention pada fashion online retailer terbesar di Indonesia, yaitu Zalora. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa online store image merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap intensi untuk membeli di Zalora, dimana variabel ?variabel perceived risks tidak menunjukan pengaruh signifikan terhadap purchase intention.
Clothing is the most widely purchased product category by internet users in Indonesia. Retail value for clothing and footwear (fashion) has significantly increase over the last three years. It encourages the development of online fashion retailer in Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze the influence of product brand image, online store image, financial risk, product risk, and time risk towards purchase intention in the context of online fashion retailer in Indonesia, namely Zalora. Result shows that online store image is the only factor that affects purchase intention to buy in Zalora, while perceived risk is not significantly impact purchase intention."

"[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh brand awareness-quality inference pada store brands terhadap consumer’s identification pada store brands dengan memasukkan variabel perceived functional risk, perceived value, consumer’s satisfaction. Data penelitian ini didapat dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara offline kepada konsumen produk makanan store brands Carrefour kurang dari tiga bulan sejak kuesioner ini diberikan. Pada penelitian ini responden dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok QC yang menitikberatkan pada kualitas dan kelompok NQC yang tidak begitu memperhatikan kualitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa brand awareness-quality inference pada store brands berpengaruh positif yang signifikan kepada perceived functional risk pada kedua kelompok responden. Perceived functional risk
berpengaruh positif yang signifikan kepada perceived value pada kedua kelompok, dan berpengaruh positif yang signifikan kepada consumer’s satisfaction pada kelompok QC dan NQC. Perceived value berpengaruh positif yang signifikan kepada consumer’s satisfaction dan consumer’s identification. Consumer’s satisfaction berpengaruh positif yang signifikan pada consumer’s identification.

In this research, respondents are classified into two groups, QC group who consist of people who conscious with quality of the product and NQC group who consist of people who not very put attention with product’s quality. The result of thisresearch shows that brand awareness-quality inference with store brand positively affect perceived functional risk for both groups. Perceived functional risk positively affect perceived value for both groups, and positively affect consumer’s satisfaction for QC and NQC group. Perceived value positively affect consumer’s satisfaction and consumer’s identification. "[Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai komunitas merek dengan mengembangkan model yang menggambarkan bagaimana pandangan pelanggan atas unsur-unsur komunitas merek pada media sosial, yaitu pandangan pelanggan atas produk, pandangan pelanggan atas merek, pandangan konsumen atas perusahaan, dan pandangan pelanggan atas pelanggan lainnya, serta tingkat keterlibatan (community engagement) terhadap kepercayaan merek. Penelitian ini berfokus pada 129 sampel yang tergabung dalam komunitas merek GoPro dan datanya
diolah dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dan analisis regresi multivariat. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari unsur komunitas merek yakni pandangan pelanggan atas produk, merek, perusahaan, dan pelanggan lainnya dengan brand trust. Dan community engagement sebagai variabel moderasi terbukti memiliki pengaruh dari variabel di dalam penelitian.

(i.e brand, product, company, and other customers), also the level of community engagement towards brand trust. This research focused on 129 samples which joined in brand community of GoPro, and the data was tested by using multiple regression analysis and multivariate analysis regression. The result of this research indicated that the elements of brand community (customers views on product, customers views on brand, customers views on company, andcustomers views on other customers) affected brand trust.
