"Penalaan adalah suatu prosedur untuk mengatur parameter umpan batik sehingga mendapatkan tanggapan sistem. Mai parameter penalaan tergantung pada tanggapan sistem Iingkar tertutup (closed loop) dan karakteristik dinamis. DCS500 Standard drive pads container crane menyediakan penalaan untuk pengaturan arus sehingga diperoleh tanggapan sistem yang diharapkan dimana error sangat kecil atau tidak ada sama sekali. Metoda yang digunakan pada penalaan ini adalah Ziegler Nichols. Pengaturan arus pads DCS500 Standard Drive merupakan jenis pengaturan proportional-integral (PI). Penggunaan pengaturan proporsional-integral karena keeepatan motor arcs searah tidak selalu sama, tergantung Bari beban yang diberikan."
