Bangunan campuran merupakan bangunan yang terdiri dari tiga atau lebih fungsi yang terintegrasi menjadi satu bangunan. Pada umumnya fungsi bangunan campuran di pusat kota terdiri dari tempat belanja retail, tempat bekerja dan tempat tinggal. Konfigurasi massa bangunan campuran terlihat dari retail yang berbentuk besar dan lebar terdapat di dekat tanah, tempat bekerja berbentuk tower yang terdapat di bagian atas dan tempat tinggal berbentuk tower atau slab yang juga terdapat di bagian atas. Terdapat dua faktor yang paling mempengaruhi bentuk konfigurasi massa bangunan campuran yaitu persyaratan ruang secara arsitektur dan bisnis real estate. Dari sisi arsitektur, terdapat persyaratan ruang yang harus dipenuhi oleh masing-masing fungsi tersebut, sedangkan dari sisi bisnis real estate terdapat konsep highest and best use serta opportunity yang dapat mempengaruhi tempat perletakan fungsi-fungsi tersebut.

ABSTRACT
Mixed use buildings are buildings that consist of three or more functions integrated into one building. In general, the function of mixed buildings in the city center consists of retail shopping, workplaces and residences. The mass configuration of a mixed building can be seen from retail in the form of a large and wide near the ground, a tower-shaped work place located at the top and a residence in the form of a tower or slab also at the top. There are two factors those most influence the form of mixed building mass configuration, which is the architectural spatial requirements and real estate busines. In terms of architecture, there are space requirements that must be met by each of these functions, while in terms of real estate business there is the concept of highest and best use and opportunity that can influence the placement of these functions.
