Abstrak :
Pesawat dua-seater LAPAN Surveillance Aircraft (LSA) merupakan pesawat milik Pusat Teknologi Penerbangan BRIN yang termasuk kategori pesawat terbang ringan untuk misi surveillance berkaitan dengan pemetaan daerah, mitigasi bencana, monitoring, foto udara, dan sejenisnya. Dengan kemampuan ini, pesawat LSA akan banyak dibutuhkan pada misi pemantauan di pulau-pulau terpencil Indonesia. Pesawat LSA dilengkapi roda pendaratan yang dapat dilipat rapih ke dalam fuselage (retractable landing gear). Penelitian ini membahas mengenai evaluasi performa sistem mekanikal roda pendaratan utama, yang diawali dengan pemodelan 3D, kemudian dianalisis mekanisme gerak retraksi dan ekstensi roda pendaratan utama melalui pendekatan kinematika dan kinetika. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan aktuator hidrolik adalah 1.5 kN dan harus dilengkapi tekanan hidrolik cadangan berupa akumulator hidrolik. Hasil ini sesuai dengan hardware yang terpasang pada referensi pembanding. Validasi juga dilakukan pada Autodesk CFD dan Ansys Workbench, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa hitungan analitik sudah mendekati hasil simulasi dengan persentase perbedaan 9.37%. Rancangan ukuran suspensi pesawat LSA dianalisis saat pembebanan statis sebesar 7122.06 N. Simulasi respon suspensi menunjukkan bahwa osilasi akibat pendaratan hanya sampai pada detik ketiga baik di landasan beraspal maupun tidak beraspal. Analisis flotasi menunjukkan bahwa pesawat LSA dapat dioperasikan pada landasan tak beraspal. ......The two-seater LAPAN Surveillance Aircraft (LSA) is an aircraft belonging to the Pusat Teknologi Penerbangan BRIN on category of light aircraft for surveillance missions. LSA aircraft are equipped with landing gear that can be folded neatly into the fuselage (retractable landing gear). This study discusses the evaluation of the main landing gear mechanical system performance, which begins with 3D modeling, then analyzes the mechanism of retraction and extension of the main landing gear through kinematics and kinetics approaches. The results show that the hydraulic actuator needs 1.5 kN and must be equipped with backup hydraulic pressure in the form of a hydraulic accumulator. These results are match with the hardware installed on the comparison reference. Validation was also carried out on Autodesk CFD and Ansys Workbench, the results showed that the analytical calculation was close to the simulation results with a percentage difference of 9.37%. The design of the suspension size of the LSA aircraft was analyzed when static loading was 7122.06 N. The suspension response simulation showed that the oscillation due to landing only reached the third second on both paved and unpaved runways. Flotation analysis shows that the LSA aircraft can be operated on unpaved runways

Abstrak :
This book summarizes the main achievements of the EC funded 6th Framework Program project COFCLUO. This project successfully contributed to the achievement of a top-level objective to meet society’s needs for a more efficient, safer and environmentally friendly air transport by providing new techniques and tools for the clearance of flight control laws. This is an important part of the certification and qualification process of an aircraft. In the book, the new techniques are explained and benchmarked against traditional techniques currently used by the industry. The new techniques build on mathematical criteria derived from the certification and qualification requirements together with suitable models of the aircraft. The development of these criteria and models are also presented in the book.
