"ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran (kooperatif dan individual) dan tipe kepribadian (ekstrover dan introver) terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ekperimental dengan desain faktorial 2 x 2 dengan sampel 48 siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di kota Tangerang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) hasil belajar siswa yang mengikuti strategi pembelajaran kooperatif lebih tinggi daripada yang mengikuti pembelajaran individual, (2) tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa yang berkepribadian ekstrover dan introver, (3) terdapat interaksi yang positif antara strategipembelajaran dan tipe kepribadian siswa pada hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia, (4) hasil belajar siswa yang ekstrover,yang mengikuti strategi pembelajaran kooperatif lebih tinggi daripada mengikuti strategi pembelajaran individual, (5)hasil belajar siswa yang introver, yang mengikuti strategi pembelajaran individual lebih tinggi daripada mengikutistrategi pembelajaran kooperatif. Simpulannya, strategi pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasaIndonesia siswa dengan mempertimbangkan tipe kepribadian siswa.

AbstractThe objective of the research is to study the effect of the instructional strategies (cooperative and individual learning)and personality types (extrovert and introvert) on the outcome of students on learning Indonesian language. Theresearch employed the experimental method with 2 x 2 factorial design on a sample of 48 students, conducted at thesecondary school in Tangerang City. The result of the research shows that: (1) the outcome of students learningfollowing the instruction with cooperative strategy are higher than those following individual instruction, (2) there areno significant differences of learning outcome between the students having extrovert type and introvert type ofpersonality, (3) there is a significant interaction effect between the instructional strategy and the personality type on thesecondary school outcome of the students learning Indonesian language, (4) the outcome of extrovert type studentslearning, following the instruction with cooperative strategy are higher than those following individual instruction, (5)the outcome of introvert type students learning, following the instruction with individual strategy are higher than thosefollowing cooperative instruction. "This study has explored the role of cultural intelligence as a mediator in the relationship between the openness to experience personality trait and job satisfaction among expatriates. Expatriates were required to fill up online questionnaires to measure all the three variables. This study used a regression and bootstrapping analysis to test the hypothesis in a sample of 265 expatriates. The result indicates that the variance in job satisfaction accountable to the openness to experience personality trait is fully mediated through cultural intelligence. This finding provides evidence that possessing cultural intelligence acts as a mechanism in which an open expatriate could feel satisfied with his or her job. Moreover, this study discusses the practical implications especially for multinational companies and suggests some future research directions.Penelitian ini meneliti dampak dari peran kecerdasan budaya sebagai mediator dalam hubungan antara kepribadian openness to experience terhadap kepuasan kerja ekspatriat. Ekspatriat mengisi kuesioner secara online untuk mengukur ketiga variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi dan bootstrapping untuk menguji hipotesis dari 265 ekspatriat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan budaya dapat memediasi dalam hubungan antara kepribadian openness to experience terhadap kepuasan kerja secara penuh. Hal itu berarti bahwa kecerdasan budaya adalah suatu mekanisme yang berperan pada ekspatriat yang memiliki kepribadian openness to experience untuk merasakan puas dengan pekerjaannya.
