The full name of Zuo Zhuan is Chun Qiu Zuo Shi Zhuan, which is one of the core Confucian classics Thirteen Classics. Zuo Zhuan is the first detailed narrative chronicle in China. It is said that Zuo Qiuming, the historian of the State of Lu in the late Spring and Autumn Period, compiled it based on the Spring and Autumn in the history of the State of Lu. In the twenty-seventh year of Lu aigong (468 before), it mainly records important events and important figures in the political, economic, military, diplomatic and cultural aspects of various countries during the 254 years of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.
