Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat apresiasi puisi siswa SD kelas V di Kabupaten Merauke. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian siswa SD kelas V se-Kabupaten Merauke tahun ajaran 2017/2018 yang terdiri atas 72 siswa dari 12 sekolah.
