"This study aims to investigate the effect of various aspects of power on administrative control systemimplementation, i.e. the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of a local health insurance program,as well as on its organizational consequences in the form of accountability and efficiency. Thesequential explanatory strategy of mixed methods research is then used. Data from 86 physicians of7 local public hospitals in Bali Province collected through survey using self-report questionnairesat quantitative stage and the transcript of an interview process conducted on qualitative stage wasanalyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) and descriptive statistical technique, respectively. Theresults show that external pressure in the form of legal requirements significantly influences this typeof administrative control system implementation. Moreover, the implementation of administrativecontrol system is also shown to have a positive impact on accountability, while accountabilityitself displays full mediating effect on the positive relationship between the implementation ofadministrative control systems and efficiency.AbstrakStudi ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh berbagai aspek derajat kekuatan (power)terhadappenerapan sistem pengendalian administratif, berupa Standard Operational Procedure (SOP)suatu program jaminan kesehatan berskala lokal, serta konsekuensi-konsekuensi keorganisasianyang dapat dihasilkan dalam bentuk akuntabilitas dan efisiensi. Studi ini menggunakan metodepenelitian campuran (mixed-method research) dengan strategi eksplanatoris sekuensial. Padatahapan kuantitatif, data dari 86 orang dokter pada 7 Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah se-Provinsi Baliyang dikumpulkan melalui survei kuesioner dianalisis menggunakan teknik Partial Least Square(PLS). Selanjutnya, hasil transkrip proses wawancara yang dilakukan pada tahapan kualitatifdianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa tekanan eksternal berupa peraturanperaturanhukum berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerapan sistem pengendalian administratif.Di sisi lain, penerapan sistem pengendalian administratif juga terbukti memiliki pengaruh positifterhadap akuntabilitas, sementara akuntabilitas menampilkan pengaruh mediasi penuh terhadaphubungan positif antara penerapan sistem pengendalian administratif dan efisiensi."

"The development of multimedia to improve the quality of istructional media laearning process. This research and development based study aimed at designing instructional multi media investigating the usefulness of the multimedia and the impact of the multimedia on the instructional process. The participants of the study consisted of two major cohorts namely 36 participants for the formative evaluation and 37 participants for the summative evaluation. Dta which were analysed descriptively were also collected from content and media expert.Questionnaire and achievement test were mainly used to collect data. The results of the study are as follows: (1) multimedia has been produced through the fuve strages of development (2) from the instructional content disp,ay and technical aspects this instructional multimedia product is in the good category with a score of 4.05, 4,22 4.05 and 4. 05 respectively and (3) the instructional multimedia could improve the quality of instruction"

"ICT based instruction implemented at the department of hotel and tourism roles opportunities and challenges. The development of ICT was running very quickly and it was getting easier to access. However in reality many students from the departement of hotel and tourism were found very hard to operate computer and internet. In addition so many instructors were also found so many problems in integrating the ICT into their intructions process because of many mythos they had already believed. The aim of this article was to study the roles of ICT in the aspects hotell and tourism industry as well as any ideas in terms of opportunities and challenges of implementing ICT in the process of instruction at the departement of hotel and tourism. The results of the study indicated that (1) ICT had been found to have very important roles in the aspects of hotels and tourism in particular to assist promotion to take managerial decision to imporve productivity and service quality (2) some opportunities were found in relation to implementingICT based instruction at the departement of hotel and touurism like to encourage the students to obtain wider sets of information from the internet and send them via e-mail to their instructors(conceptual l learning) to have the students to make online interaction (collaborative learning) and to provide them opportunities to conduct a research and analysis (research and analysis ( research and analysis) and (3) there were also found some challenges or problems encountered by the instructor in implementing the the ICT based instuction at the departement of hotel and tourism like limited capacity of the insturcitor as the students limed nurmber of supporting facilitie and financial. Sine the skills in using IT was found very important as professional manager in the aspects of hotel industry the students were aoso required to get used to using techmology in the process of instructional activities."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model mitigasi bencana terhadap ketahanmalangan siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri yang berjumlah 336 orang di kawasan rawan bencana di kabupaten Buleleng tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 48 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik group random sampling. Siswa kelompok eksperimen diberi pembelajaran dengan model mitigasi bencana, sedangkan siswa kelompok kontrol dibelajarkan dengan model belajar konvensional. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif berupa pemahaman IPA yang dikumpulkan dengan test objektif dan data ketahanmalangan yang dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Data pemahaman dan ketahanmalangan siswa dianalisis dengan statistik inferensial, yaitu MANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan ketahanmalangan siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran mitigasi bencana lebih baik daripada pemahaman siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. "
