"ABSTRAKPersalinan menjadi salah satu pemicu munculnya masalah kesehatan mental maternal. Salah satu masalahnya adalah childbirth fear yang terjadi pada seperempat ibu hamil secara global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi childbirth fear pada ibu primigravida dan faktor- faktor yang memengaruhinya. Desain penelitian berupa deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional pada 126 ibu primigravida di Kota Bekasi. Instrumen yang digunakan diantaranya Marital Adjustment Test MAT , Perceived Stress Scale PSS , Pregnancy-Related Anxiety Questionnaire PRAQ-R2 dan Wijma Delivery Experience/Expectancy Questionnaire WDEQ-A . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lebih banyak ibu primigravida yang mengalami childbirth fear yang rendah. Kepuasan terhadap dukungan suami merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap terjadinya childbirth fear pada ibu primigravida OR=11.96; 95 CI, 4.3-33.1 . Ibu primigravida yang tidak puas terhadap dukungan suaminya berisiko 11.96 kali lebih besar untuk mengalami childbirth fear dibandingkan dengan ibu yang puas. Petugas kesehatan direkomendasikan untuk memfasilitasi pendampingan suami saat antenatal agar siap berperan dalam persalinan nantinya.Kata kunci :Childbirth fear; primigravida

ABSTRACTChildbirth becomes the trigger of maternal mental health problems. One of the problem is childbirth fear which affects about one fourth of pregnant women globally. The aim of this research was to identify childbirth fear in primigravida and the influencing factors. This research used analytic descriptive design with cross sectional approach in 126 primigravida in Bekasi City. The instruments used were Marital Adjustment Test MAT , Perceived Stress Scale PSS , Pregnancy Related Anxiety Questionnaire PRAQ R2 and Wijma Delivery Experience Expectancy Questionnaire WDEQ A . Results showed that most of primigravida suffer low of childbirth fear. Satisfaction of husband support is the most influencing factor of childbirth fear in primigravida OR 11.96, 95 CI, 4.3 33.1 . Primigravida who unsatisfied with husband support was 11.96 more risky of suffered childbirth fear than whom satisfied. "Periode postpartum merupakan periode kritis pada kesehatan maternal. Peningkatan prevalensi persalinan gemelli menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi perawat maternitas untuk memberikan asuhan yang paripurna. Studi kasus dilakukan dengan fokus penerapan teori Self Care dan Unpleasant Symptoms (TOUS) pada asuhan keperawatan ibu postpartum dengan gemelli. Aplikasi teori difokuskan pada kelima kasus yang berfokus pada pengkajian gejala ketidaknyamanan dan kemampuan perawatan diri ibu postpartum dengan gemelli. Intervensi keperawatan yang optimal dan sesuai dapat membantu klien mencapai kemandirian dalam perawatan diri sendiri dan pencapaian kenyamanan pada periode postpartum. Ibu postpartum dengan gemelli harus memiliki self dan time management yang baik agar perawatan postpartum menjadi optimal.

Postpartum period is a critical period of maternal health. Inreasing prevalence of twin delivery is a challenge for maternity nurse to serve holistic care. Case study is applied with focus on the application of Self Care theory and Theory of Unpleasant Symptoms (TOUS) on nursing care in postpartum women with twin. The application of Self Care and TOUS effectively applied to five cases that focused on identification unpleasant symptoms and self care ability of postpartum women with twin. Optimum and appropriate interventions could help client to receive self care independently and feel comfort during postpartum period. Postpartum mother with twin should have appropriate self and time management so that optimum postpartum self care will be reached."
