Tulisan ini membahas tentang penggambaran migran di Jerman dan sikap penolakan migran oleh partai politik AfD dalam dua ilustrasi dan tagar unggahan Ralph Ruthe di laman media sosial Instagram. Melalui teori identitas sosial dan teori semiotika Pierce akan dibahas simbol yang merepresentasikan migran, AfD dan sikap masyarakat Jerman terhadap isu penolakan migran oleh AfD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa metode deskriptif kualitatif berbentuk kajian studi pustaka. Hasil tulisan ini menunjukan bahwa masih terdapat jarak yang membedakan antara masyarakat Jerman dan migran. Namun, dalam kedua ilustrasi terdapat kritik terhadap penolakan migran oleh AfD melalui tagar yang dicantumkan.

ABSTRACT
This paper discusses the depiction of migrants in Germany and the attitude of refusal of migrants by the AfD political parties in two illustrations and the hashtag uploaded by Ralph Ruthe on the Instagram social media page. Through social identity theory and Pierce's semiotic theory, a symbol that represents migrants, AfD and the attitude of German society to the issue of refusal of migrants by the AfD will be discussed. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method in the form of a literature study. The results of this paper show that there is still a gap between German and migrant people. However, in both illustrations there was criticism of the refusal of migrants by the AfD through the hashtag stated.
