Abstrak :
Tugas Karya Akhir ini membahas terkait Strategi Pencegahan Kejahatan Situasional yang dilakukan oleh Customs Narcotics Team Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai sebagai upaya dalam meminimalisir penyelundupan Narkotika melalui jalur udara oleh “flying courier”. Analisis dalam penulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan pencegahan kejahatan situasional terhadap kejahatan terorganisir dengan menerapkan 10 teknik yang diantaranya adalah Teknik Target Harden, Control Access, Screen Entry/Exits, Control Tools/Weapons, Extend Guardianship, Reduce Anonymity, Utilize Place Managers, Strengthen Formal Surveillance, Set Rules, dan juga Alert Conscience. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, implementasi dari teknik pencegahan kejahatan situasional tersebut masih memiliki beberapa hambatan. ......This thesis discusses the Situational Crime Prevention Strategy by the Customs Narcotics Team of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise as an effort to minimize smuggling of Narcotics through the airways carried out by the "flying courier". The analysis in this paper uses a situational crime prevention approach to organized crime by applying 10 techniques which include Target Hardening, Access Control, Screen Entry/ Exits, Control Tools/ Weapons, Extend Guardianship, Reduce Anonymity, Utilize Place Managers, Strengthen Formal Surveillance, Set Rules, and also Alert Conscience. Based on the results of the analysis, the implementation of situational crime prevention techniques still has several obstacles.
