"Profesi apoteker mempunyai peran penting untuk memunjag pekerjaan kefarmasian. Salah satu hal yang harus dilakukan untuk menjadi apoteker profesionaladalah berpartisipasi untuk mengikuti praktik kefarmasian. Untuk itu, calon apoteker diminta untuk menjalani praktik profesi untuk bekal memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi sebelum memasuki dunia kerja. Praktik profesi ini dilakukan di Apotek Roxy pada bulan Maret 2022. Pada tugas khusus ini dibahas lebih lanjut mengenai analisis pelayanan informasi obat, konseling, dan catata pengobatan pasien geriatri. Pasien geriatri merupakan pasien yang membutuhkan perhatian khusus dalam penggunaan obat. Laporan khusus ini membahas perhatian khusus yang diberikan kepada pasien geriatri selama menjalani masa terapinya.

The pharmacist profession has an important role to support the work of pharmacy. One of the things that must be done to become a professional pharmacist is to participate in the pharmaceutical practices. For this reason, prospective pharmacists are asked to undergo professional practice to equip them with the understanding of the role of pharmacists and improve competence before entering the world of work. This professional practice was carried out at Roxy Pharmacy in March 2022. In this report, further discussion on analysis of drug information services, counseling, and treatment records for geriatric patients was discussed. Geriatric patients are patients who require special attention to use medicines. This report discusses the special attention paid to geriatric patients during their therapy."

"Efektivitas omeprazol setara dengan lansoprazol pada terapi pasien Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), namun harga satu tablet lansoprazol lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan harga satu tablet omeprazol. Omeprazol memiliki efek samping yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan lansoprazol, sehingga dapat mempengaruhi total biaya terapi pasien GERD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis minimalisasi biaya terapi omeprazol dibandingkan lansoprazol pada pasien GERD di Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia (RSUI) tahun 2019-2020. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan pengambilan data secara retrospektif. Subjek penelitian pasien rawat jalan yang berusia diatas 18 tahun yang didiagnosis GERD dan mendapatkan terapi omeprazol atau lansoprazol dengan data billing lengkap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan subjek penelitian didominasi oleh perempuan (61,3%) dengan usia 25 - <35 tahun (30,5%). Total biaya terapi pasien GERD di RSUI tahun 2019-2020 untuk omeprazol sebesar Rp301.000,00 sedangkan untuk lansoprazol adalah sebesar Rp437.950,00. Terapi omeprazol lebih ekonomis dibandingkan dengan terapi lansoprazol (p=0,120).

The effectiveness of omeprazole is equivalent to lansoprazole in the treatment of patients with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), but the price of one tablet of lansoprazole is higher than omeprazole. Omeprazole has higher side effects than lansoprazole, so it can affect the total cost of therapy for GERD patients. The purpose of this study was to analyze the cost minimization of omeprazole therapy compared to lansoprazole in GERD patients at the University of Indonesia Hospital (RSUI) in 2019-2020. This study is an observational study using a cross-sectional design with retrospective data collection. The subjects were outpatients aged over 18 years who were diagnosed with GERD and received omeprazole or lansoprazole therapy with complete billing data. The results showed that the study subjects were dominated by women (61.3%) with ages 25 - <35 years old (30.5%). The total cost of therapy for GERD patients at RSUI in 2019-2020 for omeprazole is Rp. 301,000.00 and Rp. 437,950.00 for lansoprazole. It is concluded that omeprazole therapy was more economical than lansoprazole therapy (p=0.120)"
