Pharmacists is one of the professional health workers who have an important role in carrying out pharmaceutical work. The important thing to do to become a professional pharmacist is to participate directly in the practice of pharmacy. Therefore, prospective pharmacists are required to undergo professional practice to increase understanding of the roles, functions, positions, and responsibilities of pharmacists before entering the workforce. The Pharmacist Professional Work Practice is held at Kimia Farma Garuda Pharmacy for the period of February 2022, PT Mahakam Beta Farma for the period March – April 2022, and the Jagakarsa District Health Center for the period May 2022. By participating in the Practice Program, it is hoped that prospective pharmacists will have insight, knowledge, skills, and abilities to do pharmaceutical work"

"Ditinjau dari sudut pandang klinis, kombinasi peningkatan tekanan darah dan peningkatan kadar kolesterol dapat meningkatkan risiko kejadian kardiovaskular yang masih menjadi penyebab utama kematian di dunia. Selain itu, bukti klinis menunjukkan bahwa pasien hiperlipidemia memiliki kaitan dengan terdapatnya peningkatan tekanan darah. Sebagai upaya pencarian atau pengembangan obat terkait penyakit kardiovaskular secara praklinis, maka dapat dilakukan pengembangan model hewan hiperlipidemia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian variasi komposisi induksi diet tinggi lemak pada pengembangan model hewan hiperlipidemia dan pengaruhnya terhadap parameter tekanan darah sebagai faktor risiko penyakit kardiovaskular. Induksi diet tinggi lemak dilakukan selama 10 minggu dengan 3 kelompok induksi yang berbeda dalam komposisi diet dan 1 kelompok yang tidak diinduksi sebagai kontrol. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemberian diet tinggi lemak selama 10 minggu dapat meningkatkan profil lipid hewan uji berupa peningkatan kadar kolesterol total dan kadar trigliserida. Peningkatan yang signifikan (p<0,05) terjadi pada setiap kelompok induksi diet tinggi lemak dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Setelah induksi diet tinggi lemak, parameter tekanan darah pada kelompok induksi meningkat signifikan (p<0,05) terhadap kelompok kontrol. Peningkatan profil lipid dan tekanan darah paling tinggi terjadi pada kelompok HFD 3 dengan komposisi lemak kambing 50%, mentega 15%, fruktosa 20%, minyak kelapa 12,5%, kolesterol murni 2%, dan asam kolat 0,5%. Terdapat korelasi yang kuat dan signifikan antara profil lipid hewan uji dengan parameter tekanan darah. Dapat disimpulkan, pemberian induksi diet tinggi lemak selama 10 minggu dapat membentuk model hewan hiperlipidemia dan meningkatkan tekanan darah pada hewan uji.

Based on a clinical point of view, the combination of increased blood pressure and elevated cholesterol levels can increase the risk of cardiovascular events which remains major cause of death in the world. In addition, clinical evidence shows that hyperlipidemic patients are associated with an increase in blood pressure. As an effort to find or develop drugs related to cardiovascular disease on a preclinical basis, it is possible to develop an animal model of hyperlipidemia. This study aimed to determine the effect of variation in the composition of high-fat diet on the development of animal models of hyperlipidemia and its effect on blood pressure parameters as a risk factor of cardiovascular disease. High-fat diet was induced in animal models for 10 weeks, 3 groups were induced with different compositions and 1 group was not induced as a control. The results showed that high-fat diet feeding for 10 weeks could increase in total cholesterol and triglyceride levels of the animal model. A significant increase (p<0.05) occurred in each group induced by a high-fat diet compared to the control group. After feeding of a high-fat diet, blood pressure parameters in the experimental group increased significantly (p<0.05) compared to the control group. The highest increase in lipid profile and blood pressure occurred in the HFD 3 group with a composition of 50% goat fat, 15% butter, 20% fructose, 12.5% coconut oil, 2% pure cholesterol, and 0.5% cholic acid. There is a strong and significant correlation between the lipid profile of the animal model and blood pressure parameters. It can be concluded that a high-fat diet feeding for 10 weeks can form an animal model of hyperlipidemia and increase blood pressure in the animal model. "
