"The advancement of information and communication technology through the internet has offered a new form of participation and interaction between government and society so that in the end it can push the higher level of understanding and acceptance of society to government action. The condition achieved through the use of various e-government applications. This paper attempts to discuss how e-musrenbang applications implemented by some local governments in Indonesia contribute to increasing community participation in development planning as well as thenumerous challenges and obstacles faced in realizing it. To achieve the objectives, this paper uses a qualitative approach with literature studies on some documents and data sources that discuss the implementation of e-musrenbang in Indonesia."

"Corruption is a major problem faced by the Indonesian people, including those occurring in the Regional Government. To adequately address the issue of corruption, the understanding of the causes of corruption needs to be given attention so that efforts to prevent and eradicate corruption canbe adjusted to the root of the problem. From the search results tothe various literature, it can be seen that in essence, corruption iscaused by some factors that either contribute directly or indirectly. Also, factors causing corruption can also be distinguished between factors related to individual characteristics as well as structural influences. This study wants to know whether ignorance or lack of understanding of regulation can be constructed as the cause of corruption by the Head of Region in Indonesia. This research uses constructivist paradigm and usequalitative research method with a case study and done normatively. Based on the results of the study, ignorance or lack of understanding of regulation can be constructed as the cause of corruption by the Head of Region in Indonesia. Ignorance of regulation can be categorized as a cause of corruption in the context of Indonesia and other developing countries."

"ABSTRACTThe IPCC in 2015 has recognized the critical role of local governments in scaling up the adaptation of communities to climate change. The role will be executed properly if the leaders have an awareness of climate change as a strategic agenda in his administration. In the context of Indonesia, the vision and mission of a regional head can be a clue as to how he supports efforts in tackling climate change. The five-year regional development plan is anelaboration of the development agendas offered by a regional head in his vision and mission.Therefore, this paper aims to analyze the future of climate change policy in some provincial governments based on the vision and mission of the elected governors. To achieve the goal, the author employs a qualitative approach to analyze the contents of the vision and mission and their preference to climate change. The results of the study indicate that the elected governors are still not very aware of climate change and did not specify it in their vision and mission. Therefore, in the preparation of five-year regional development plan, it is necessary for some stakeholders to address and specifically mention the issues of climate change."

"ABSTRACTRegulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) is a tool for improving the quality of new or modified government regulations. The absence of RIA can result in a regulation being unaccountable, non-transparent, or inconsistent. Moreover, the government will find it difficult to create policies that will benefit economic and social-welfare. In Indonesia's context, the use of RIA is just in the form of a pilot project and unsustainable both in the central andregional governments. Based on empirical research, this paper explored the existing conditions of RIA application by central and regional government in Indonesia. Moreover, this paper also analyzed the perception of the benefits and the challenges in utilizing it.The study found that RIA is still little and not optimally used in the preparation of various regulations in Indonesia both at the central and regional government levels although there are a number of benefits that would be obtained if it were used. This condition has arisen due to the lack of leader commitment, lack of apparatus knowledge of mindset andperception as well as limitations in budget, legal support, and socialization."

"Abstract. This article attempts to give the picture concerning the importance of public accountability and citizenparticipation as one of the instruments to eradicate bureaucratic corruption, seen from various theories. Thispaper provides equal and adequate understanding of the role of public accountability and citizen participationin the eradication process of corruption and the various efforts that can be done to strengthen it. The resultsof this literature review shows that the efforts taken to eradicate corruption in Indonesia is still partial andtend not to have a clear design strategy so that in many cases is not able to reduce signi cantly the level ofcorruption that occurred. Besides that, the important role of public accountability and citizen participationin the eradication of corruption has not received much attention as well as has not been thoroughly studied.Therefore we need further study of the various aspects of public accountability and citizen participation in theeradication of corruption in Indonesia."
