Abstrak :
Penelitian ini membahas mengenai gambaran sistem proteksi aktif, proteksi pasif, sarana penyelamatan jiwa dan sistem manajeman kebakaran gedung di Sekolah Dasar “A” dan Sekolah Dasar “B” di Provinsi Banten tahun 2013. Tujuan dibuatnya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran keselamatan kebakaran serta kesesuaian sistem proteksi aktif, sistem proteksi pasif, sarana penyelamatan jiwa dan sistem manajeman kebakaran gedung dengan standar Keputusan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No.10/KPTS/2000, Peraturan Mentri Pekerjaan Umum N0.26/PRT/M/2008, Kepmen PU No. 11/KPTS/2000 dan standar National Fire Protection Association, metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif melalui observasi dan telaah dokumen yang berada pada kedua sekolah tersebut dengan pendekatan evaluation study. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa gambaran keselamatan kebakaran di sekolah dasar masih kurang, karena hampir seluruh komponen keselamatan kebakaran belum diimplementasikan. ...... From the results of this study concluded that the description of fire safety in elementary schools are still lacking, because almost all components of fire safety has not been implemented.
