Abstrak :
Melalui penelitian ini, penulis ingin melihat pengaruh identifikasi dan ancaman terhadap identitas sosial, terutama yang mengarah pada diri individu, dalam pengambilan keputusan pada kondisi dilema sosial melalui permainan prisoner`s dilemma. Berdasarkan penjelasan pada teori identitas sosial dan teori mengenai ancaman terhadap identitas sosial, penulis menduga bahwa tingkat identifikasi dan kehadiran ancaman identitas sosial yang mengarah pada diri individu akan mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan partisipan ketika dihadapkan pada kondisi dilema sosial, yaitu apakah partisipan akan lebih kooperatif atau non-kooperatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental, dengan desain within-subject 2 (Identifikasi: Tinggi vs rendah) X 3 (Ancaman terhadap identitas sosial: prototypical vs kategorisasi vs kontrol). Hasil analisis dari penelitian yang dilakukan tidak menunjukan dukungan terhadap dugaan tersebut χ (1, N = 165) = 1.610, p > 0.05. Dengan demikian, tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari tingkat identifikasi dan ancaman terhadap identitas sosial pada pengambilan keputusan dalam kondisi dilema sosial.

Within this research, author wanted to study about identification level and social identity threat, especially which is directed on individual self, on decision making in social dilema condition through prisoner`s dilema game. Based on social identity theory and social identity threat theory, author predicted that identification level and social identity threat which is directed on individual self will influence decision making process on participant when they were being on social dilemma condition, whether they will be more cooperative or noncooperative. This research used experimental method, within subject design 2 (Identification: High vs low) X 3 (Social identity threat: prototypical vs categorization vs control). Our results of analysis from this research showed that there were no supportive finding to our hypotheses χ (1, N = 165) = 1.610, p > 0.05. This finding concludes that there is no significant effect from identification level and social identity threat on decision making process in social dilemma condition.

Politik sebagai salah satu dimensi realitas memberikan sebuah tempat bagi berlangsungnya proses pengelolaan terhadap sistem kehidupan bersama. Politik tidak dapat lagi dipandang sebagai dimensi yang berlandaskan pada sebuah fondasi yang utuh dan tetap, yang mengatasi berbagai dimensi kehidupan lainnya, sehingga mengucilkan posisi politik sebagai sub-sistem. Pengucilan ini membuat politik kehilangan otonominya karena ia harus selalu berbasiskan fondasi yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Melalui pemikiran politik Ernesto Laclau, skripsi ini mencoba menunjukan bahwa betapa politik adalah sebuah dimensi yang memiliki otonomi relatif, yang berlandaskan pada fondasi yang tidak tetap. Posisi ini membuat model pemikiran politik kontemporer lebih bercorak disensual daripada konsensual, dan lebih memberikan tempat terhadap pluralitas di dalam sistem kehidupan bersama. Dengan membedakan antara The Politic dan The Political, ketidakmungkinan dari totalitas politik dalam mengelola sistem kehidupan bersama menjadi dapat ditunjukan. Paradoks antara kedua hal tersebut adalah sebuah ketegangan yang berdiri sebagai batas terluar dari antara masing-masing mereka. Pemikiran politik kontemporer yang bercorak post-foundastionalist dalam mengatasi permasalahan pluralitas pada sistem kehidupan bersama, tidak menghilangkan dimensi etis dalam proses konstitusinya. Keberadaan dimensi etis ini, sebagai sebuah momen etis, tidak mengurangi otonomi dari politik melainkan justru berdiri sebagai batas terluar dari politik. Momen etis disini memungkinkan proses aktivasi dimensi The Political, yang kemudian memiliki potensi dalam mengintervensi The Politic.

Abstract
As one sphere in reality, politic gives a place for the process of maintaining the social system. Politics can not be assumed as a dimension which founded by a single totalized sphere of life, which has the supreme power to solve every social problems, and makes politic inferior as a subsystem. It makes the politic loss its autonomy caused it must following the pattern of its foundation which have been taken place before. Through Ernesto Laclau?s political thought, the author try to showing the politic as a dimension which always having its relative autonomy and founded by unstable foundation. This position make the contemporary political thought?s model tends to form a dissentient conception instead of consentient, and giving a place for plurality in social system. By separating The Politic and The Political, the impossibility of politic as totality in maintaining the social system can be showed. The paradoxal relation between them is a tension which makes a conceptual frontier for each of them. Post-Foundational political thought, when trying to solve the problem of plurality, was not dismiss ethical dimension in their process of constitution. The presence of ethical dimension, as ethical moment, does not diminish political?s autonomy, but take a stand as its frontier. Ethical moment gives the activation process of The Political possible, whereupon make it potent to interventing The Politic.
