ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini memiliki fokus pada Komuniti Peduli Ciliwung (KPC) Tanjung Barat serta model pengelolaan sampah di kawasan ekosistem Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Ciliwung Tanjung Barat yang masyarakatnya mayoritas berasal dari komuniti sukubangsa etnik Betawi . Masalah Penelitian adalah Pemulihan Lingkungan hidup dan pemeliharaan ekosistem DAS Ciliwungyang dipengaruhi / didasari oleh Faktor Kebudayaan Lokal ( Local Knowledge dan Local wisdom )yang dimiliki oleh komuniti sukubangsa Betawi dalam membentuk Jaringan sosial sebagai Landasan Pembangunan Berbasis Komuiti . Sebagai Penelitian kuallitatif, Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan seperti metode etnografi, yang mendeskripsikan tentang sukubangsa atau kelompok masyarakat berbasis etnik Betawi Ora. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa : 1).Peran strata sosial dan Personal network ( Ketokohan) yang dimiliki dalam struktur masyarakat komuniti suku bangsa/etnik Betawi berpengaruh terhadap proses Pemberdayaan masyarakat (Community Development) yang di selenggarakan oleh Komunitas Pencinta Ciliwung Tanjung Barat, serta 2). Faktor Kearifan Lokal dari mitos, tabu serta tradisi dari komuniti sukubangsa Betawi harus tetap dipertahankan karena dengan nilai tradisi turun temurun tersebut berpengaruh signifikan dalam menjaga dan memelihara kebersihan dan kelestarian ekosistem DAS Ciliwung.

ABSTRAK
This research has focused on the Ciliwung Community Care (KPC) and the Tanjung Barat regional waste management model ecosystem Watershed (DAS) Ciliwung the Tanjung Barat where people mostly from ethnic Betawi ethnic local community. The research problem is the Environmental Restoration and maintenance of Ciliwung watershed ecosystem that is influenced / based on the Local Cultural Factors (Local Knowledge and Local wisdom) are in, iliki by ethnic Betawi local community in shaping the social network as a Platform of Community based development.. As a qualitatif Research, this research was conducted with approaches such as ethnography method, which describes the ethnic or ethnic-based groups of Betawi Ora. From the analysis found that: 1). Role of social strata and personal networks (Prominent) owned by the local community community structure tribes / ethnic Betawi influence on the process of community empowerment (Community Development) organized by the Community of Kelompok Pencinta Tanjung Barat, as well as 2 ). Local Wisdom factor of myths, taboos and traditions of local community from Betawi ethnic must be maintained because the value of the traditions handed down a significant effect in protecting and maintaining the cleanliness and preservation of ecosystems of Ciliwung river.
