Data BPS 2012 memperlihatkan bahwa sektor manufaktur di Indonesia memiiki peran yang cukup besar dalam mendorong peningkatan PDB di Indonesia. Untuk menghasilkan suatu produk manufaktur yang memiliki daya saing yang tinggi di pasaran maka perlu diketahui tingkat kompleksitas produk tersebut. WH ElMaraghy meneliti sebuah metode evaluasi untuk meningkatkan efektifitas suatu sistem manufaktur. Sebuah metode evaluasi yang diperlukan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang penilaian sebuah sistem manufaktur, yang disebut pemodelan sistem manufaktur. Salah satu bagian dari pemodelan sistem manufaktur yaitu metode penelitian yang dirancang untuk menentukan kompleksitas proses. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan evaluasi dan perhitungan kompleksitas proses manufaktur struktur utama sepeda BMX 20". Identifikasi proses yang diperoleh selanjutnya digunakan untuk membuat sebuah Graphical User Interface kompleksitas proses struktur utama sepeda. Adanya perbedaan hasil perhitungan manual dengan Interface sebesar 0.004% diperkirakan terjadi karena adanya perbedaan proses pembulatan angka. One part of the method of manufacturing system modeling studies designed to determine the complexity of the process. This study evaluated and calculated the manufacturing process complexity of the BMX bike 20" main structure. The process identification that subsequently obtained used to create a Graphical User Interface complexity of the bicycle main structure. The difference of manual calculations results and the Interface calculation results is 0004%, that thought to occur because of the differences way in the process of numbers rounding.
