"Pada situasi-situasi tertentu terkadang kata memiliki makna yang sama, seperti halnya kata nog dan weer pada Bahasa Belanda. Masalah pada penelitian ini ialah perbedaan kata nog dan weer pada Bahasa Belanda, agar penggunaan kata nog dan weer dapat lebih dipahami. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan semantik Saeed pada situasi kalimat. Sedangkan data yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini diambil dari buku Komt een vrouw bij de dokter karya Kluun. Setelah kata nog dan weer pada kalimat dikumpulkan, data tersebut dikaitkan dengan teori-teori situasi Saeed yang menunjukan dengan jelas perbedaan kata nog dan weer pada sebuah kalimat. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa perbedaan kata nog dan weer berada pada proses aktivitasnya, kata weer memiliki jeda pada prosesnya sedangkan nog tanpa jeda.

In some circumstances sometimes words has a similar meaning, such as nog and weer in Dutch language. The problem in this research is the differences of nog and weer in Dutch sentences, so the application of nog and weer could be more understood in a deeper way. This qualitative research uses a Saeed's semantic method which focus on the situation. As for the data from this research, it was taken from the book komt een vrouw bij de dochter created by Kluun. The words nog and weer in sentences were gathered. Then these words will be associated to Saeed's theory of situation which show clearly the differences of nog and weer in a sentence. This research has found the differences of nog and weer located in activity process where weer has an interlude in the process, while nog without interlude."
