Abstrak :
Perkembangan teknologi membuat semua orang menjadi semakin mudah menggunakan internet untuk memperoleh informasi dan hiburan. Namun di sisi lain, internet juga digunakan oleh kelompok radikal untuk menyebarkan ideologinya. Penyebaran ideologi berawal dari situs-situs dan forum yang khusus dibuat untuk diisi dengan materi radikal. Akan tetapi, pada saat ini penyebaran ideologi radikal telah merambah ke situs-situs populer. Tulisan ini membahas salah satu situs populer, yaitu Youtube, yang dimanfaatkan sebagai media penyebaran ideologi radikal. Berdasarkan temuan data, banyak orang yang terpengaruh dengan tayangan video radikal di Youtube. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terpaan video radikal membuat seseorang memiliki opini politik yang lebih agresif.

Technological developments made it easier for everyone to use the internet to get information and entertainment. On the other hand, the internet is also used by radical groups to spread their ideology. The spreadth of ideology starts from websites and virtual forums that are specially prepared to be filled with radical material. However, this time spreadth of radical ideology has penetrated into popular sites. This thesis discusses one of the popular sites, namely Youtube, which is used as a medium for the spreadth of radical ideology. Based on data findings, many people have been affected by radical videos shown on Youtube. The results of the analysis show that the high exposure of radical video makes somebody contaminated by aggressive political gesture.
