"ABSTRAKFanatisme remaja putri tehadap boyband kian marak terjadi sejak awal tahun 2010 Terutama pada kalangan remaja putri di Jakarta yang begitu terobsesi terhadap boyband One Direction Bentuk fanatisme ini sangat bermacam macam dari mulai yang biasa saja hingga pada bentuk yang ekstrim Paparan media mengenai boyband ini yang secara terus menerus pada akhirnya menyebabkan para remaja putri merasakan adanya hubungan atau ikatan yang mendalam dengan idolanya tersebut yang disebut parasocial relationship Faktor faktor yang turut memperkuat hal tersebut adalah dengan penampilan fisik dari para anggota boyband juga persona mereka di media yang memiliki karakter masing masing untuk setiap anggotanya Hal inilah yang kemudian mendorong mereka untuk melakukan hal hal fanatik sebagai bentuk kecintaannya terhadap One Direction Dari mulai membeli dan menggunakan atribut yang berhubungan dengan One Direction menghadiri acara yang diselenggarakan oleh sesama penggemar bahkan rela menyakiti diri sendiri untuk idolanya tersebut

ABSTRACT

Teenage girls rsquo fanaticism on boybands are increasingly widespread since the beginning of 2010 Especially on some teenage girls in Jakarta who has been so obsessed about this boyband One Direction The form of this fanaticism could be varied starting from the normal ones to the extreme ones High media exposure about this boyband in the end causing these teenage girls feel a deep connection or a strong bound with their idols which called as parasocial relationship Some supporting factors that help this bound to grow even stronger are like the physical appearance of these members and their attracting media personalities that each members of the group has These very particular things encourage them to do things as a form of fanaticism to One Direction For example they always try to buy and wear attributes that related to One Direction and attending some events organized by fellow fans even the most extreme thing is that they are trying to harm themselves for their idols."
