Of all possible resources, Coca-Cola System’s knowledge base has the greatest ability to serve as a source of sustainable differentiation and, hence, competitive advantage. Therefore managing knowledge is one of the most strategic weapons that can provide proprietary competitive advantage, it is very essential for any organization to manage knowledge effectively.
Knowledge management is a process and the final stage of knowledge management is knowledge transfer. Since knowledge transfer is a direct benefit of social capital, and social capital is an additional mechanism for enhancing knowledge transfer both within and between organizations, hence becomes the antecedents of knowledge transfer conduct between the employees of the organization. There are three interrelated dimensions of social capital; structural, cognitive, and relational dimensions. This thesis delves further into the relational dimension, which encourages collaboration and can help overcome resistance to organizational change.
