Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan tata kelola di suatu negara terhadap tingkat korupsi yang terjadi di 10 negara di Asia. Tingkat korupsi pada penelitian ini diukur dengan Coruption Perception Index (CPI) yang dikeluarkan oleh lembaga Transparancy International. Variabel corporate governance menggunakan indeks yang dikeluarkan oleh Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan corporate governance terbukti memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap korupsi.

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of governance in a country on the level of corruption in the country. The level of corruption in this study measured by Corruption Perception Index (CPI) issued by Transparancy International. Governance variables using the index of Corporate Governance issued by the Asian Corporate Governance International (ACGA). The higher the ACGA index means the better the application of governance in this country. Based on the research conducted, governance has a negative effect on corruption.
