"[ ABSTRAK Teknologi memiliki peranan penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Teknologi tersebut tidak hanya membawa dampak positif, namun juga dampak negatif pada kehidupan manusia. Kekhawatiran akan dampak teknologi ini banyak dituangkan dalam karya sastra. Salah satu karya yang mencoba untuk menjelaskan fenomena ini adalah anime Psycho-pass. Penelitian ini membahas hilangnya kebebasan individu akibat teknologi dalam anime Psycho-pass sebagai sebuah bentuk kritik sosial terhadap masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan sosiologi sastra serta metode deskriptif analisis. Manusia memang membutuhkan teknologi untuk membantu kehidupannya, namun tidak seharusnya manusia menyerahkan semuanya pada teknologi. Hal inilah yang menjadi kritik sosial dalam animasi Psycho-pass.

ABSTRACT Technology holds an important part on human life. Technology brings not only positive effects but also negative effects like the lost of human freedom. Worry about this technological impact have been written in many literary works, and one of the work which try to explained this phenomenon is Psycho-pass animation. This research discuss the lost of human freedom because of technology in Psycho-pass animation as a part of social critics, and the theory that used in this research is a socio-literature theory and analytical descriptive as a methods.
