Film menggambarkan perempuan dan laki-laki dengan cara yang berbeda. Beberapa mencoba untuk menaikkan derajat perempuan, dan beberapa masih menyajikan nilai-nilai tradisional. Artikel ini meneliti representasi karakter perempuan utama pada film The Incredibles 1 dan 2 yang terlihat mendukung emansipasi perempuan melewati karakter superhero. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa hal dalam potongan adegan film yang mengindikasi bahwa film ini tidak sepenuhnya mengemansipasi perempuan. Tujuan dari artikel ini yaitu untuk mempelajari bagaimana perempuan digambarkan melalui visual dan peran pada setiap karakter di The Incredibles 1 dan2. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa karakter perempuan pada film masih menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai tradisional, seperti dominasi oleh laki-laki, sehingga membuktikan bahwa film-film ini tidak merepresentasikan kebebasan pada perempuan. Lebih lagi, melalui tubuhnya, perempuan masih terlihat direndahkan dan diobjektifikasi. Oleh karena itu, film-film ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai pseudo-empowerment, yaitu ketika sesuatu terlihat memberikan kebebasan namun nyatanya tidak samasekali.

Movies represent women differently from men. Some try to raise women’s dignity, and some still impose traditional values on them. This paper uses The Incredibles 1 and 2 to analyze because it seems unusual when women become the main character of superhero movies. This paper studies the representation of the primary female character in The Incredibles 1 and 2 that seems to support some women’s emancipation through the character that is portrayed as a superhero. However, there are some ideas conveyed through the mise-en-scéne that still indicate that the movie series do not fully emancipate women. The purpose of this paper is to examine how women are represented through visuals and character roles in The Incredibles 1 and 2. The method of this paper is critical discourse analysis of film which analyzes the language beyond it is sentence, and aspects outside the language, such as power relation, social context and ideology. The result of the analysis shows that the female character in the movies still upholds traditional values, such as male domination, revealing that these movies are not emancipatory for women. Moreover, women are still degraded and objectified through their body. Therefore, these movies can be seen as a form of pseudo-empowerment, where something is seen as empowering but actually it isnot.

"ABSTRAKMakalah ini berdasarkan studi kasus berjudul ldquo;The Great Recession, 2007-2010: Causes and Consequences rdquo; tentang Krisis Keuangan Global yang terjadi pada tahun 2007 hingga 2010. Saya akan menjawab tiga pertanyaan berdasarkan materi yang dipelajari dikelas dan penelitian online. Makalah ini akan menjelaskan tentang peran keputusan yang tidak etis dalam krisis keuangan global, lembaga keuangan yang terlalu besar untuk gagal, dan bail-out lembaga keuangan yang gagal. "Perusahaan dari seluruh dunia terkena dampak gangguan rantai pasokan global selama pandemi, salah satunya adalah IKEA Indonesia. Perusahaan ini mengimplementasikan proses inventory sharing yang bertujuan untuk menyeimbangkan inventory antar toko serta mencapai target product availability dan overstock, sehingga mampu menunjang komersialitas perusahaan dan tingkat inventory meskipun memiliki pengaturan inventory secara desentralisasi. Beberapa bulan dijalankan secara rutin, proses stock balancing membutuhkan cycle time yang panjang serta tidak memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada struktur inventory karena kerap terjadi inventory discrepancy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi masalah dalam proses stock balancing, menganalisis dampaknya terhadap inventory, dan juga merancang perbaikan proses bisnis sehingga menghasilkan cycle time yang lebih singkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pengumpulan data lewat wawancara dan observasi. Penelitian dimulai dengan menganalisis proses stock balancing saat ini untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab utama masalah. Kemudian, merancang perbaikan proses melalui sepuluh tahapan business process improvement termasuk teknik seperti eliminate, reduce cycle time, dan automation. Hasil penelitian memproyeksikan bahwa proses stock balancing dapat menjadi lebih efisien dengan mengeliminasi empat aktivitas duplikasi dan cycle time dapat dipersingkat 50% dari 28 hari menjadi 14 hari. Selain itu, penelitian ini menyarankan faktor pendukung seperti integrasi sistem dan dedicated manpower untuk mendukung penuh proses stock balancing.

Companies worldwide were impacted by global supply chain disruption during the pandemic. IKEA Indonesia executes inventory sharing process called as stock balancing aims to balance inventory levels between stores and reaching goals for availability and overstock level that affects company’s commerciality and stock holding despite the centralized inventory management. After months of implementation, cycle time of weekly execution was too long up to one month and didn’t contribute a significant impact on inventory structure due to inventory discrepancy. This study aims to investigate and identify issues in current stock balancing process, to analyse the impact to total inventory level, and also to design business process improvement in shorter cycle time. Qualitative method is conducted in this research and data collection through interviews and observations. The research began with analysing current process to identify the root cause. Then, proposing process improvements through ten steps of business process improvement including techniques such as eliminate, reduce cycle time, and automation. The result projecting that stock balancing process can be improved by eliminating four duplicating activities and the cycle time could be shortened by 50% from 28 days to 14 days. In addition, this study suggests supporting factors such as system integration and dedicated manpower to fully support on stock balancing process."
