"Daun tanaman pare (Momordica charanthia L.) secara tradisional digunakan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan rambut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat sediaan hair tonic yang mengandung ekstrak etanol daun pare dan menguji aktivitasnya terhadap pertumbuhan rambut serta stabilitas fisik dari sediaan hair tonic. Hair tonic dibuat dengan kandungan ekstrak daun pare pada konsentrasi berbeda yaitu 1%, 2% dan 4%. Sediaan ini diaplikasikan pada kulit tikus secara topikal dan panjang rambut diukur pada hari ke-7, 14 dan 21 sedangkan bobot rambut diukur pada hari ke 21. Hair tonic minoksidil digunakan sebagai kontrol positif.
Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa formula terbaik yang dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan rambut adalah formula yang mengandung 4% ekstrak etanol daun pare. Aktivitas peningkatan pertumbuhan rambut pada formula ini tidak berbeda bermakna dengan kontrol positif minoksidil. Sediaan hair tonic yang mengandung ekstrak daun pare 1%, 2% dan 4% menunjukkan kestabilan fisik yang baik pada penyimpanan suhu kamar dan suhu tinggi. Pada penyimpanan suhu rendah terlihat adanya ketidakhomogenan hair tonic formula 3 yang mengandung ekstrak daun pare sebesar 4%.
Leaves of bitter melon (Momordica charanthia L.) are traditionally used to promote hair growth. This research was carried out to formulate hair tonic dosage form which contain ethanolic extract of bitter melon leaves and evaluate its hair growth-promoting activity and physical stability of hair tonic dosage forms. Hair tonics were made using bitter melon extract in various concentration, which are 1%, 2% and 4%. These dosage forms were applied topically on rats skin and the length of hairs were measured on 7th, 14th and 21th day while the weight of hairs were measured on 21th day. Minoxidil hair tonic used as positive control. The results showed that the best formulation for promoting hair growth was given by the formulation which contains 4% ethanolic extract of bitter melon leaves. The hair growth-promoting activity of these formulation was not significantly different to minoxidil hair tonic. Hair tonic dosage forms which contain bitter melon leaves extract 1%, 2% and 4% showed a good physical stability at room temperature and high temperature storage. There was any irregularities in the hair tonic which contains extract of bitter melon leaves by 4% at low temperature (4 °C ± 2 °C )."

Tugas khusus yang berjudul Kajian Perencanaan Obat Program Perbaikan Gizi Masyarakat di Kabupaten/Kota bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses perencanaan obat program perbaikan gizi di Kabupaten/Kota. Berdasarkan hasil kajian, kegiatan perencanaan obat perbaikan gizi sudah sesuai dengan buku acuan The Logistic Handbook: A Practical Guide for the Supply Chain Management of Health Commodities dan A Practical Guide For Procurement Planning And Management Of Strategic Public Health Supplies terutama dalam proses seleksi obat dan perhitungan (kuantifikasi) secara umum. Namun, pada proses perhitungan, khususnya pada tahap perkiraan spesifik pemakaian obat perbaikan gizi, masih belum sesuai karena informasi mengenai populasi grup (ibu hamil dan balita) yang mendapatkan suplemen gizi belum tercantum dalam buku Pedoman Pengelolaan Obat Program Perbaikan Gizi Masyarakat. Selain itu, pada buku pedoman tersebut belum tercantum perhitungan kebutuhan obat program perbaikan gizi yaitu vitamin A yang juga diperlukan pada kasus tertentu seperti campak, diare, xeropthalmia, pneumonia dan kejadian bencana alam.
Pharmacist Internship Program at the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices aimed to understand the duties and functions of the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices and the Directorate of Public Drugs and Health Supplies and also the role of pharmacists at the Directorate of Public Drugs and Health Supplies. A special assignment was entitled Assessment of Community Nutrition Improvement Program Drug Planning at District/City aimed to assess on nutrition improvement program drug planning process at district/city. Based on the results of the study, nutrition improvement program drug planning activities was appropriate with the references book The Logistic Handbook: A Practical Guide for the Supply Chain Management of Health Commodities and A Practical Guide for Procurement Planning and Management Of Strategic Public Health Supplies especially in the general drug selection and calculation (quantification) process. However, in the calculation process, especially on the specific estimation of nutrition improvement drugs consumption, was still not appropriate yet because the information about the group populations (pregnant women and children under five) who received nutritional supplements were still not listed in the Community Nutrition Improvement Program Drug Planning Management Guideline. In addition, on that guideline book hasn?t yet included calculation of required nutrition improvement program drug vitamin A which is also required in some cases such as measles, diarrhea, xeropthalmia, pneumonia and the occurrence of natural disasters."

"Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Pedagang Besar Farmasi (PBF) Tramedifa bertujuan agar calon apoteker memahami peran dan tugas apoteker penanggung jawab di PBF Tramedifa serta penerapan aspek manajemen pengelolaan sediaan farmasi di PBF Tramedifa. Peran dan tugas apoteker penanggung jawab dalam melaksanakan tugasnya di PBF Tramedifa adalah melaksanakan dan mengawasi kegiatan pengelolaan obat jadi. Sementara itu, untuk penerapan aspek manajemen pengelolaan sediaan farmasi di PBF Tramedifa telah didukung oleh oleh sistem software aplikasi milik PBF Tramedifa, yaitu "Tramedifa System” yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi kegiatan operasional di PBF.
Tugas khusus berjudul Perhitungan Persediaan Minimum Berdasarkan Analisis Pareto di Unit Kerja Pengadaan PBF Tramedifa bertujuan untuk menghitung persediaan minimum produk berdasarkan analisis Pareto yang ada di PBF Tramedifa sebagai upaya pengendalian persediaan di PBF.
Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, persediaan minimum terbesar adalah produk obat Isoprinosin sebanyak 525 item produk untuk pengadaan tiap 2 minggu, disusul dengan Otsu-Ns 25 mL (NaCl) dengan persediaan minimum sebanyak 279 untuk pengadaan tiap 1 bulan dan untuk pengadaan tiap 3 bulan terdapat Mycostatin Drop dengan persediaan minimum sebanyak 36 item.

The Minimum Inventory Calculation Based on Pareto Analysis at Tramedifa Pharmaceutical Distributor’s Procurement Unit aimed to calculate the minimum inventory of products based on Pareto analysis which is existed at Tramedifa Pharmaceutical Distributor as inventory control efforts at Pharmaceutical Distributor. Based on calculations, the largest minimum inventory were Isoprinosine drug products as many as 525 items for procurement of products every 2 weeks, followed by Otsu-Ns 25 mL (NaCl) with minimum inventory as many as 279 products for the procurement every 1 month and the procurement every 3 months are Mycostatin Drop with minimum inventory as many as 36 items."

LAPI Laboratories serta mengetahui peran dan tanggung jawab apoteker di industri. Tugas khusus berjudul Proses Pengolahan Limbah Sefalosporin di PT. LAPI Laboratories yang bertujuan untuk memahami proses pengolahan air limbah industri farmasi, memahami reaksi kimia yang terjadi saat pengolahan limbah sefalosporin dan mengetahui metode analisis yang dapat mendeteksi residu sefalosporin di air limbah.
Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur diketahui bahwa proses pengolahan air limbah industri farmasi terdiri dari proses fisik, kimia dan biologi. Reaksi kimia yang terjadi saat pengolahan limbah sefalosporin merupakan reaksi netralisasi pH limbah dan degradasi inti beta laktam sefalosporin. Metode analisis kromatografi lapis tipis dengan fase diam SnO2 dapat mendeteksi residu sefalosporin di air limbah.

LAPI Laboratories aimed to understand the pharmaceutical industry's wastewater treatment process, the chemical reactions that occur when cephalosporins waste treatment and to know the analysis method that can detect cephalosporin residues in wastewater. Based on the results of the study of literature was known that pharmaceutical industry's wastewater treatment process consists of physical, chemical and biological reactions. Chemical reaction that occur in cephalosporins waste treatment is waste pH neutralization reaction and degradation of cephalosporins's beta-lactam nucleus. thin-layer chromatography with stationary phase SnO2 analysis method can detect cephalosporin residues in wastewater."

Tugas khusus berjudul Rancangan Formulasi Tablet Irbesartan Menggunakan Metode Granulasi Basah bertujuan agar calon apoteker mampu menyusun rancangan formulasi sediaan tablet Irbesartan yang baik dan menggunakan metode yang tepat berdasarkan studi literatur. Berdasarkan Biopharmaceutics Classification System (BCS), Irbesartan termasuk obat golongan kelas II karena kelarutannya yang buruk dalam air namun permeabilitasnya tinggi sehingga diperlukan rancangan formulasi yang dapat meningkatkan kelarutan Irbesartan. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kelarutan Irbesartan adalah menggunakan surfaktan Polysorbate 80 yang bekerja dengan meningkatkan pembasahan dan penetrasi cairan disolusi ke dalam partikel zat aktif obat. Metode pembuatan yang digunakan adalah metode granulasi basah untuk mengatasi masalah sifat aliran dan kompresibilitas Irbesartan yang kurang baik.

The preparation method used was the wet granulation method to solve the problem of poor flow and compressibility properties of Irbesartan."
