"Area sub store, gudang perantara antara gudang bahan baku dengan area produksi yang menyimpan bahan baku selama 1 shift produksi, mempunyai frekuensi pengiriman material yang tinggi. Dalam melakukan material handling dengan frekuensi yang tinggi tersebut, dibutuhkan alat bantu yang ergonomis agar pekerja tidak mengalami work musculosketeletal disorder. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam merancang alat yang ergonomis ini adalah metode Virtual Human Modeling. Output dari penelitian ini adalah perbandingan nilai Posture Evaluation Index (PEI) dan Lifting Index (LI) menggunakan model aktual dengan model rekomendasi. Posture Evaluation Index (PEI) mengintegrasikan hasil analisis dari tiga metode pengukuran ergonomi yaitu Low Back Analysis (LBA), Ovako Working Posture Analysis (OWAS), dan Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). Sedangkan Lifting Index (LI) merupakan hasil analisis dari pengukuran ergonomi NIOSH. Hasil penelitian memberikan rekomendasi alat bantu material handling yang ergonomis di area sub store.

Sub store area, a temporary warehouse, between raw material store and production area, which saves raw material during 1 shift of production, has high frequency of material delivery. In doing such a material handling activity, it is needed to have an ergonomic material handling equipment to avoid worker from work musculoskeletal disorder. The approach used in designing ergonomic equipment is virtual human modeling methodology.

The output of this research is a comparative value of Posture Evaluation Index (PEI) and Lifting Index (LI) using actual model and recommendation model. Posture Evaluation Index (PEI) integrates analytic results of three ergonomic measurement tools. They are Low Back Analysis (LBA), Ovako Working Posture Analysis (OWAS) and Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA). However, Lifting Index (LI) is an analytic result of NIOSH analysis. Output of this research gives a recommendation of ergonomic material handling equipment for sub store area."

"Kandungan nikel pada bijih laterit tergolong rendah, namun kelimpahannya mencakup 70% jumlah total sumber daya nikel dunia. Indonesia sebagai negara dengan cadangan nikel laterit terbesar kedua dunia memanfaatkan saprolit dan limonit untuk memproduksi feronikel melalui proses pirometalurgi. Kualitas yang dihasilkan bergantung pada perilaku difusi nikel menuju matriks besi, hal ini dipengaruhi oleh derajat reduksi dari senyawa-senyawa pengotor yang terkandung selama proses roasting. Aspek-aspek yang mengontrol antara lain ukuran partikel, temperatur, waktu tahan, dan kadar reduktor. Dehidroksilasi dan rekristalisasi bijih laterit yang berasal dari Pomaala, Sulawesi, Indonesia diamati dengan metode Differential Scanning Calorimetry-Thermogravmetry (DSC-TG). Sampel-sampel berbentuk briket batubara/laterit diteliti menggunakan Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) dan X-ray Diffraction (XRD) setelah dipanaskan pada berbagai kondisi reduksi. Pembentukan tetratenit tampak sangat peka akan pengaruh peningkatan temperatur dari 600°C hingga 1200°C. Intensitas tertinggi 672 counts tercapai pada temperatur 1.200°C, di mana munculnya peak tetrataenit di 2θ 74,45° mulai terdeteksi. Pengamatan menggunakan Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) pada temperatur ini juga mendeteksi keberadaan senyawa berbentuk gelembung diduga hasil pertumbuhan tubular halloysit. Senyawa forsterit dan enstatit hanya ditemukan pada temperatur ≤ 1000°C. Intensitas tetratenit berhasil ditingkatkan hingga 469 counts pada sampel dengan ukuran partikel ≤ #270, sedangkan peningkatan waktu tahan hingga 90 menit menghasilkan intensitas 227 counts. Di lain pihak, pada batubara:laterit = 1:1, nilai intensitas tetrataenit hanya mencapai 185 counts.

The abundance of laterite ore with low nickel content covers 70% of total world nickel reserves. Indonesia as the country with the world’s second largest nickel laterite reserves recovers feronickel from saprolite and limonite through pyrometallurgical processes. Its quality will depend on the behaviour of nickel diffusion into ferrous matrix that is influenced by reduction degree of the ore gangue during roasting. Controlling aspects include ore particle size, temperature, reduction time, and reductor concentration. Dehydroxlation and recrystallization of laterite ores from Pomaala, Sulawesi, Indonesia were investigated using Differential Scanning Calorimetry-Thermogravmetry (DSC-TG) method. Samples in briquette coal/laterite form were examined by Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) after reduction under various conditions. The formation of tetrataenite is highly sensitive to temperature increase from 600°C to 1200°C. Highest intensity of 672 counts was reached at 1200°C, at which the peak at 2θ 74,45° was detected finally. Observation using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) at this temperature also revealed a bubble-shaped like compound supposedly the result of halloysite growth. Forsterite and enstatite were only found at temperature ≤ 1000°C. The tetrataenite intensity was succesfully raised until 469 counts on sample with particle size ≤ #270, while increase of reduction time up to 90 minutes yielded intensity of 227 counts. On the other hand, with coal/laterite ratio = 1, the tetrataenite intensity only attained 185 counts."

"Tesis ini menganalisis sikap penonton serta minat kunjungan penonton terhadap suatu objek wisata setelah penonton tersebut menyaksikan adegan-adegan yang memperlihatkan keindahan alam dan panorama di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan di pada dua film yang baru saja diproduksi pada akhir 2012 kemarin. Kedua film tersebut adalah Rayya, Cahaya diatas Cahaya dan 5cm. Lokasi wisata yang muncul dalam film dan sekaligus menjadi topik penelitian ini adalah Gunung Semeru dan Kawah Ijen. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif deskriptif dan merupakan riset eksploratory yang bersifat komparatiff dimana bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh movie attitude terhadap place attitude dan visit intention terhadap kedua daerah wisata tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa movie attitude berpengaruh positif terhadap place attitude dan visit intention terhadap kedua daerah wisata tersebut.

This thesis analyzed the attitude of the audience as well as interest in the audience to visit a tourist attraction after the audience watched the scenes that show the natural beauty and panoramic in Indonesia. The study was conducted in the two films recently produced by the end of 2012. The two movies are Rayya, Light upon Light and 5cm. Tourism destination that has appeared in movies and become the topic of this research is Mount Semeru and Ijen Crater.

This research is quantitative descriptive and exploratory research that is comparative which aims to determine the attitude of the place movie influence attitude and intention to visit both the tourist area. These results indicate that the movie attitude has positive effect on the place attitude and intention to visit both the tourist area."

"Eksistensi tenaga kerja informal yang relatif besar menimbulkan pertanyaan apakah liberalisasi perdagangan benar dapat membawa manfaat dalam menumbuhkan suatu perekonomian, khususnya di Indonesia dengan informalitas yang tinggi. Penelitian ini ingin menganalisis bagaimana pengaruh liberalisasi perdagangan terhadap tenaga kerja informal di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan data Indonesia tingkat provinsi dari tahun 1993 hingga 2019, penulis mengkonstruksi dua model untuk melihat secara statis dan dinamis sehingga dapat mengestimasi efek liberalisasi perdagangan pada jangka pendek dan jangka panjang. Liberalisasi perdagangan diukur dengan trade openness ratio dan tenaga kerja informal diidentifikasi melalui status pekerjaan utama. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa liberalisasi perdagangan signifikan mempengaruhi tenaga kerja informal dan mengikuti pola inverted-U Kuznets curve. Liberalisasi perdagangan akan menaikkan porsi tenaga kerja informal pada jangka pendek. Pada jangka panjang, liberalisasi perdagangan akan mengurangi porsi tenaga kerja informal, yang berarti perekonomian membaik. Ditemukan pula bahwa pada penelitian ini, aktivitas informal cenderung terpengaruhi oleh liberalisasi perdagangan melalui aktivitas formal.

The existence of a relatively large informal workforce raises the question of whether trade liberalization can actually bring benefits in growing an economy, especially in Indonesia with high informality. This study aims to analyze how the effect of trade liberalization on informal workers in Indonesia. By using provincial-level Indonesian data from 1993 to 2019, the author constructs two models, static and dynamic, to estimate the effect of trade liberalization in the short run and long run. Trade liberalization is measured by trade openness ratio and informal workers are identified by the main employment status. This study finds that trade liberalization significantly affects informal workers and follows an inverted-U Kuznets curve pattern. Trade liberalization will increase the share of informal workers in the short term. In the long term, trade liberalization will reduce the share of informal workers, which means the economy is improving. It was also found that in this study, the informal activities tends to be affected by trade liberalization through the formal activities."
