Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh efektifitas dewan komisaris, pengendalian keluarga dan kepemilikan institusional terhadap tingkat Cash holding perusahaan. Penelitian ini juga menguji pengendalian keluarga dan kepemilikan institusional sebagai pemoderasi pengaruh efektifitas dewan komisaris terhadap cash holding. Dengan sampel 565 tahun perusahaan yang terdaftar di BEI penelitian ini menemukan efektifitas dewan komisaris berpengaruh negatif terhadap cash holding perusahaan. Pengendalian keluarga terbukti berpengaruh negatif sedangkan, kepemilikan institusi tidak berpengaruh terhadap cash holding perusahaan. Pengendalian keluarga dan kepemilikan institusi tidak terbukti memoderasi pengaruh efektifitas dewan komisaris terhadap cash holding perusahaan. ...... This study aims to examine the effect of the effectiveness of the board of commissioners, family control and institutional ownership to the company's Cash holding level. This study also examines family control and institutional ownership as a moderating variable of the effectiveness of the board of commissioners towards cash holding. With sample 565 firm years listed on the IDX. This study found the effectiveness of the board of commissioners negatively affect the company's Cash holding. Family control proved to have a negative effect whereas, institutional ownership has no effect on the company's Cash holding. Family control and institutional ownership are not proven to moderate the effect of the board's effectiveness on the company cash holding.
