"Logam emas (Au) merupakan salah satu logam transisi yang sedang berkembang dalam berbagai bidang penelitian seperti diagnostik maupun terapi. Nanopartikel emas dibuat dengan tiga variasi yaitu reduksi hidrogen tetrakloroaurat (HAuCl4) menggunakan gom arab (GA-AuNp), reduksi hidrogen tetrakloroaurat (HAuCl4) menggunakan natrium borohidrida (NaBH4) dengan penstabil gom arab (GA-AuNp), dan reduksi hidrogen tetrakloroaurat (HAuCl4) menggunakan NaBH4 (AuNp). Nanopartikel dikarakterisasi menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis, TEM, AFM dan PSA. Aktivitas antioksidan nanopartikel emas ditetapkan dengan metode DPPH. Stabilitas fisik nanopartikel emas selama 5 minggu penyimpanan pada suhu ruang ditentukan secara spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nanopartikel emas berbentuk sferis, memiliki ukuran partikel berturut-turut 6,52 ± 0,66 nm; 4,045 ± 0,99 nm; dan 55,82 ± 39,87 nm. Persentase inhibisi sebesar 74,39%; 73,51%; dan 72,63%. Uji stabilitas menunjukkan bahwa nanopartikel emas GA-AuNp masih stabil secara fisik selama 5 minggu.

Gold (Au) is a metal transition element which has been developed in various research field, especially as therapeutic and diagnostic agent. Gold nanoparticles were synthesized by three variations, reducing hydrogen tetrachloroaurate (HAuCl4) using gum arabic (GA-AuNP); reducing hydrogen tetrachloroaurate (HAuCl4) using sodium borohydride (NaBH4) and gum arabic as a stabilizing agent (GA-AuNP); and reducing hydrogen tetrachloroaurate (HAuCl4) using NaBH4 (AuNP). Those nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, TEM, AFM, and PSA. Antioxidant activity of gold nanoparticles were also measured by using the DPPH method. Physical stability of gold nanoparticles was determined by UV-Vis spectrophotometer during 5 weeks at room temperature. The results showed that the spherical gold nanoparticles, having a particle size 6.52 ± 0.66 nm; 4,045 ± 0,99 nm ; and 55.82 ± 39.87 nm. percentage inhibition of 74.39%; 73.51%; and 72.63%. Stability test showed that the GA-AuNp still physically stable for 5 weeks."

Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Apotek Safa bertujuan untuk memahami tugas dan fungsi apoteker pengelola apotek (APA) di apotek dan memahami kegiatan di apotek baik secara teknis kefarmasian maupun non teknis kefarmasian. Tugas khusus yang diberikan berjudul Evaluasi Pengadaan Persediaan Obat Dengan Metode Analisis Pareto (ABC) Di Apotek Safa Periode Januari-Maret 2014. Analisis dilakukan dengan cara mengolah data yang dikumpulkan dari nota penjualan. Tugas khusus ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam meningkatkan pelayanan dengan lebih baik lagi."

This activity is aim to improve the knowledge about the role, functions, positions and responsibilities of pharmacists in pharmaceutical industry. Apothecary Profession Internship at Tribe of Health Department in East Jakarta is aim to understand the duties and functions of Tribe of Health, and understand the duties and functions of the Health Resources Section of Tribe of Health Department, especially in the Subsection of Pharmaceutical Food and Beverage. A special assignment was given which entitled with Evaluation of Licensing Services of Pharmacy and Citizent's Pharmacy in Duren Sawit, Kramat Jati, Matraman, Makasar, and Pulogadung, East Jakarta region on January-December 2013. The purpose of this specific assignment is to know the amount of Pharmacy and Citizent's Pharmacy, the quality of service, and determine the average time of licensing services which given by Tribe of Health Department in East Jakarta on January-December 2013."

"Penyakit crohn merupakan peradangan saluran cerna kronik yang berpotensi mempengaruhi setiap bagian dari saluran pencernaan. Hal ini menyebabkan akumulasi abnormal dari matriks ekstraselular dan pembentukan fibrosis yang berkaitan dengan meningkatnya jumlah Transforming Growth Factor-β dan dapat menyebabkan penyempitan usus hingga kegagalan organ. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah identifikasi situs pentargetan yang sensitif Transforming Growth Factor-β sebagai informasi untuk penghantaran obat terapi fibrosis pada usus hewan dan manusia. Dalam penelitian ini, identifikasi situs pentargetan sensitif TGF-β dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan PCIS Precision-Cut Intestinal Slices yang merupakan suatu model ex vivo untuk mensimulasikan terjadinya fibrosis usus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TGF-β tidak mempengaruhi kelangsungan hidup irisan usus dan adanya pengaruh TGF-β terhadap perubahan fenotip yang berperan dalam penyempitan usus. Oleh karena itu, dapat ditentukan terapi farmakologis atau terapi gen terkait TGF-β yang berpotensi untuk mencegah penyempitan usus pada penyakit crohn.

Crohn's disease is a crohnic relapsing inflammatory bowel disease potentially affecting any portion of the gastrointestinal tract. It causes abnormal accumulation of extracellular matrix and formation of fibrosis which associated with the increasing amount of Transforming Growt Factor and can leads to intestinal stricture or organ failure. Aim of this research is to identification of targeting site which sensitive Transforming Growth Factor as information for drug delivery of fibrosis therapy in animal and human intestine. In this research, the identification of targeting site which sensitive to TGF can be done by using PCIS Precision Cut Intestinal Slices . It is an ex vivo models to simulate the occurrence of intestinal fibrosis. Results showed that TGF did not affect the viability of the slices and there was implication of TGF in the phenotypic transition which played a role in intestinal strictures. So that, it can be applicable for pharmacologic or targeted gene therapies related TGF which are potentially to prevent stricture of crohn's disease in the near future."
