Abstrak :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kepemilikan keluarga dan keberadaan Multiple Large Shareholder MLS terhadap ukuran dewan pada perusahaan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2011- 2013. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kepemilikan keluarga berpengaruh negatif terhadap ukuran dewan perusahaan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan MLS berpengaruh positif terhadap ukuran dewan perusahaan. Penelitian ini juga menguji interaksi antara kepemilikan keluarga dan keberadaan MLS terhadap ukuran dewan perusahaan. Hasilnya adalah keberadaan MLS memperlemah pengaruh positif kepemilikan keluarga terhadap ukuran dewan perusahaan. ...... This study aims to examine the effect of family ownership and the existence of Multiple Large Shareholder MLS on board size on firm listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2011 2013. This study finds that family ownership has a negative effect with firm board size. On the other hand, this study shows that the existence of MLS has a positive effect on firm board size. This study also examines the effect between family ownership and the existence of MLS on firm board size. The result is the existence of MLS weakens the positive effect on family ownership on firm board size.
