"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh institutional ownership, managerial ownership, dan free cash flow terhadap dividend payout ratio perusahaan sektor barang konsumsi primer yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2016 hingga 2020. Dengan mengambil sampel 32 perusahaan yang di regresi data panel menggunakan fixed effect model. Hasil yang didapat penelitian ini adalah free cash flow memberikan pengaruh yang negatif signifikan terhadap dividend payout ratio. Sedangkan institutional ownership & managerial ownership tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap dividend payout ratio.

This study aims to understand the effect of institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and free cash flow on the dividend payout ratio of primary consumer goods sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016 to 2020. By taking a sample of 32 companies in panel data regression using the fixed effect model. The result of this research is that free cash flow has a significant negative effect on the dividend payout ratio. Meanwhile, institutional ownership & managerial ownership do not have a significant effect on the dividend payout ratio.
